“Absolutely amazing classic shotgun style apartment/duplex in a great location in the Bywater neighborhood. Located on a quiet street, walking distance to great local restaurants, bars and shops. Apartment was clean, comfortable and fully appointed with all necessary amenities. Beds were so comfortable, ceiling fans in each bedroom made for comfortably cool nights. Jonathan was a perfect host, great communicator snd allowed for late check out so we could make the most of our time. Recommend……

“We loved staying here! There are 2 houses on the property, the main house with multiple units, and the house we stayed in that was completely separate and had 3 bedrooms. There was a common courtyard area with multiple seating areas and it has an artistic vibe. At night the lighting in the courtyard is beautiful. The house was clean and had everything you need for a stay. The whole property is fenced and gated including the parking which was great as well. The neighborhood was a nice……

“I know we left the backyard cleaner than we found it, but at least there was a yard.Location relative to areas of interest were a little disingenuous. “Had a great time at this property. We did not spend that much time inside due to it being a great location in the heart of the French Quarter. We were able to hang out late and easily walk back when needed. The host was very welcoming and invested in our stay. Would highly recommend if you plan on partying on Bourbon St. or the French Quarter!”

“Great location and set up. Booked to stay with my team for a conference, and we were only a short walk from the show. The only note would be the street noise that you should take into consideration if you're a light sleeper. The noise is not a ding on the owners since it's out of their control, and they provide sound machines in the rooms, which were a huge help. ”

“Highly recommend this place and property management company. Everything was spot on with what we expected and perfect for what we were in town for. The rooms were clean, beautiful, and appeared to be newly renovated. Unfortunately the weather didn't treat us quite as good while we were in with a cold front, however, even though it got colder than expected, we still made it work. Would absolutely stay again. “Everything about the experience and the space itself was exactly as sold. And this is the perfect little nook, between the Quarter and Garden District. You can walk to all sorts of great NOLA sights. And the WWII Museum is a must-do, and only 10 mins on foot.Also, the customer service for this listing was fantastic. “We had a wonderful and comfortable stay! We were five friends attending a reunion and this penthouse had everything we needed - a place for bonding and recapping events of the day, a refrigerator to store all of those left overs, extra blankets and a strong sense of safety within the building and outside of it. “We traveled down for the French Quarter Festival. Management was ahead in communication and made the check in super easy. The location is perfect, and near the city center. We loved the coziness of the room, beds slept great and loved the brick and modern yet nostalgic feel. Genesis was SUPER responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit New Orleans and can’t WAIT to visit and stay here again.”

"The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant."
