I guess I would have liked to see the host, even if briefly, just so it would be more personal.The fact that the TV didn't work wasn't a big deal for us because we came to visit, not watch TV.Never having engaged this kind of arrangement before, I would say this was a learning experience.Would certainly stay there again.”

There was a beautiful breeze with the windows open, and we enjoyed our dinner while watching the squirrels and blue jays, centimetres from the window, enjoying theirs. “Cozy cottage located very close to town on a beautiful quiet, private lake. Kids loved the paddleboards and kayaks and the private beach a quick row away. Cottage was very clean and equipped with everything you’d ever need including board games, dvds and books, cooking essentials etc. Cozy beds and pillows. Owner was incredibly kind and checked in on us upon our arrival and throughout the stay. Would highly recommend, looking forward to renting out again soon. ”

“Although we brought our toddler's old Nuna to sleep in, there was room to place the Vrbo mattress on the floor to use as a toddler bed. If your child needs darkness to sleep, I recommend bringing blackout curtains because the store light from across the street is fairly bright. If you have a mobile toddler, bring a pressure mounted baby gate for the basement entrance in-between the kitchen and living room.
