“This "farmhouse" was fully modern, well equipped, and gave us a lovely, quiet place to relax during our stay.A short drive from town, it was easy to shop or go out for dinner, but we were away from the highway and railroad noise of La Grande. “The property is on a quiet street with easy walking access to the lake. The trees on the west side of the property helped keep the cabin cool in the afternoon. We appreciated the array of kitchen pots and pans, and the living room was spacious. We had originally planned to eat out a couple of times, but cooking and eating in the cabin just seemed so pleasant so we didn't stray for meals. ”

“Vacasa sent us directions to the lake house we cancelled instead of the new one on the river, so that caused some issues after driving all day (376 miles). It was upsetting but once i contacted them via text, they verified they made an error and sent the new directions. We did try the back door and found that it was open. I was not happy with my contacts with Vacasa. “Stay was very relaxing, however the power went out 1-2 times everyday and we stayed a week. I guess this is how things roll in this area as many locals said in town. It’s just something we would have wanted heads up on as flashlights provided need batteries and no candles. The longest it went out was 3 hours to 45 mins.
