“Good location close to town centre, arts centre and walks. Small rooms with lots of electrical points that had no function. Used a power board off another power board which was of dubious safety. No hotel bbq although plenty of outdoor table and chairs. Room had a microwave.”

“The River Room was in a peaceful rural setting and was cosy accommodation for a single night for a couple. It would also be suitable for a couple with two children. The comfortable couch and spacious room was welcome. ”

“What a little gem of a find. Absolutely beautiful cottage right in the woods and yet a 5 min drive to town. Jack is a wealth of knowledge and there is bird and possum feeding at certain times. There are beautiful parrots, a goose, chickens and a free range rabbit. Kids would love this place and there is a play area for the littlies. We had a 2 bedroom room with a spa and the fireplace was a bonus. Great size and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was very strong . There……

Lots of nicely shaded powered and non-powered sites, tidy camp kitchen, clean n neat laundry and bathroom facilities, swimming pool and playground. “Over all the property catered to all our needs,beds were very comfortable,kitchen well equipped . The only problem I found was the toilets found it difficult to close the door in downstairs area. A design error. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay [with our dogs] at Maeburn cottages. Dorothy was a great host and very attentive to our needs. The cottage was warm and cosy and the bed comfortable. One thing to note is that our cottage had a fridge but no freezer component, so if you need ice you will need to get it at the general store. Metung is a lovely place to stay and the cottage is located relatively close to the village [a nice walk along the lake for about 15 to 20 minutes or a less than 5 minute drive. We……
