What a wonderful experience!

Our friends were coming in from St. Louis and we couldn't accommodate them in our home...I'm so excited I found this Harper Woods gem for their home for the week! Great location near us AND the dialysis center one of the guests needed to visit a couple of times. The kitchen was stocked with everything a visitor could need - even a roaster! I have family coming to town in September and I hope I'll be able to rent this place again!

Girls Trip

The house was awesome. I would definitely recommend; however, I’m a bit over dramatic when I travel so take the below comments with a grain of salt should you choose. Pros 1. Communication was great and fast. 2. Neighborhood was very quiet and nice. 3. Home was updated throughout and the decor was awesome. 4. Check in and check out was VERY smooth and easy. 5. Private drive available for parking. 6. Netflix is provided on living room tv 7. Full length mirror provided (great perk for the ladies) Cons: 1. There are not any televisions in any of the bedrooms. 2. The grass was a bit too high to enjoy the beautiful back yard. 3. Gnats and little spiders inside the home. I would personally set off a fogger/bomb because it was irritating while trying to eat. It wasn’t bad enough to leave the property, just irritating. 4. Honestly, I would just say to do a deep clean. Baseboards, spiderwebs on porch and kitchen light, etc. just a good old deep cleaning. Again, I highly recommend this property but with those few minor changes.

This house worked great for my husband and I while visiting our sons and family in Grosse Pointe Woods. It was close and we all enjoyed roasting hot dogs and making s’mores in the back yard.

Relaxing modern home

3 adults, 3 teens and a 9 yo. Plenty of room for all. The kitchen was well supplied. This house had all the comforts of home including fluffy blankets, designer touches, fire pit out back and so much more.

Beautiful Place!

We loved this place. It was absolutely beautiful and on a very nice clean street close to the freeway. The backyard was just as beautiful with a fire pit and seating. The only thing I would suggest is putting TVs in each room. Traveling with teenagers is hard enough without having to hear them argue over the TV. Lol

The property has a plumbing problem, spiders and ants, the lawn was not maintained front or back and was not as clean as advertised we found shoes, rose petals underneath couch pillows and beds and trash in dresser drawers , No tissue for restrooms and gum shells outside in the lawn Neighbors stated there was a shooting at the residence

Beware of ants

The house was clean with the exception that in order to use the kitchen we had first to clean the counter space, the floors and walls. Ants were everywhere around the kitchen space. We contacted the host and the response was to use insect killer spray or that is normal in any home in Michigan to have ants. I had replied that we are not from Michigan and if that is the case then the listing on VRBO should have a disclosure for the guest to know. I will had not rented the listing if I had known. Who wants to clean ants before and after a meal or coffee. We had a great experience in the past with VRBO, but this time very disappointed.
