The hotel was very beautiful and eccentric. I loved my room (Standard King With Kitchen). It was very cozy yet spacious and felt like home. Staff were extremely friendly and checked in to ensure I was enjoying my stay. The location is extremely convenient as it is a 5 min drive from the train station. There are many walkable restaurants and shops include a brief walk to CVS. Overall I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely stay again!

All the basics covered: comfortable bed, blackout curtains, decent plumbing, functional heat/AC (though a bit noisy). Coffee in the room would have been nice, but the coffee at breakfast was very good. Staff friendly and courteous. Funky but functional.

Really cute and fun retro feeling spaces inside as well as outside. Plenty of spaces to sit and relax, including a new bar, music room, pool tables, firepits with lounge areas outside. The parking lot has been redesigned to make lounging outside safer and more private for guests. Comfortable rooms and beds. Very personable and friendly staff.

Royal oaks was a great little town and this motel was a new experience for me. The lounges and outdoor areas we wonderful and the staff was helpful. It was hard for me to get the old motel feel out of it but they really did a good job. I wish they would put a table and lamp on both sides of the bed and have more choices at breakfast.
