Great stay

The Cochrane Inn is run by a pair of wonderful sisters, Rica and Winky. I arrived at the Inn way ahead of the check-in time and was exhausted due to the longhaul flight. They offered me complimentary breakfast and accompanied me while I was waiting in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable. This was my first time being able to fall asleep on a hotel bed without the help of melatonin pills! The Cochrane Inn is truly a magical house to me!  Thank you for the awesome stay once again, Rica and Winky!

This place is a total gem! We booked a weekend stay here for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, and let me tell you, they still can’t stop talking about it. From the warm welcome at check-in to the smooth check-out, my mom gave me the full play-by-play on how kind and professional the staff was (like, five-star concierge vibes). The rooms? Super cozy and spotless. They loved chatting with other couples in the private yard. It gave off such a peaceful, homey vibe. And the breakfast? Ohhh, the breakfast. My parents went on and on about how fresh and delicious it was. Final review straight from them: “I pray the owners get everything they deserve because they’ve created something truly special.” So with that, me and my husband are booking our stay next!

The staff were rarely seen, but everything was done immediately. This is the kind of place where the hospitality was so great, it made you feel guilty. The only downside was not enough bathroom space to lay out your hygiene products.

This was our fourth stay. At this point, Rica and Cina feel like extended family. Why stay in hotel when you can experience a historical Detroit mansion that has been lovingly updated and remodeled. Walk to any sporting / music event and wake up the best breakfast ever. 100 stars.

Enjoy the epitome of hospitality at TCH

We came to Detroit for a concert and TCH was such a treat to stay at! The location is within walking distance to both the Lions, Tigers and Little Ceaser arenas. The sisters have mastered their craft of hospitality in every meaning of the word. This was our first bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at and they have set the bar VERY high. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

The two sisters that own and run this B&B are amazing. Their house is beautiful and so easy to walk to all the sporting and music venues. Great bars and restaurants in the area. Our breakfast both mornings were delicious but OMG that Compote!!

We enjoyed everything about our stay here! The food was excellent, the building was beautiful and meticulously kept, and the hosts were amazing! Communication was excellent and prompt, and the hosts were just the right amount of available. The location allows a very short walk to Ford Field, Comerica Park, Little Caesars Arena, and plenty of other businesses and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again! memorable experience

From being greeted with warm smiles to when we had to leave, the hostesses made our stay wonderful with a very refreshing enthusiasm. Although the building was beautiful and charming, the pride, professionalism and genuine concern demonstrated by all outshined the physical charm of the structure. They set a standard that all in the hospitality industry would be wise to emulate. We highly recommend treating yourself to a memorable treat by spending some time at this gem.
