The hotel is well maintained, beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and really lovely. The location is perfect for exploring the city - we were in for a Tigers game, and it was an easy 15-minute walk to the game. There is a people mover station right across the street which is super convenient as well. Will absolutely stay again!

Do NOT stay at this property. The hotel, bar and room were beautiful. However a maid tried to enter our room at 9:00 (checkout was 11) woke us up. Manager said we didn’t have our do not disturb on. Nope. We always check before bed specifically for this reason. And second we let them valet our car. They park it in an underneath parking garage. It had rained during the night and sentiment dripped on our entire roof, sunroof and along side our car. They told us to use LCR which we know would take the clear coat off our car. We called for 4 days for a manager. Never heard back. We ended up having to pay a professional detailer at our dealership to get it off. Took them 3 hours to remove it without damaging our car. Totally unacceptable. This wasn’t our fault yet we had to pay on our dime for it. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional for a business.

Huntington Place に近いのと，朝食付きであるため，ビジネスで利用． 1882年設立されたDetroitの社交クラブの歴史ある建屋のHotel.大変美しく維持されており，エレベータなど古い設備もあるものの衛生的で行き届いた管理を感じる． セルフサービスではあるが，朝食のベーグル，蒸しパン，シリアル，たまご料理，果物，ヨーグルトが食べられ，コーヒーやオレンジジュースもあるので，近場にレストランが少ないDetroit中心街ではビジネス利用にも便利．

We stayed in a beautiful large room that had a great king bed. We ate at their restaurant “Bohemia” which was a highlight of our stay. Our waiter Jonathan was so nice and attentive and the food was outstanding. Have to have their Octopus and Wagyu A5 appetizers. Drinks from their Lounge was also outstanding. Bartender Michael kept us entertained and their happy hour smash burger was to die for. We will definitely stay at this hotel in the future!

Room was clean, which I appreciated. However, the AC didn’t work, the hallways were very loud, and there was a parrot that yelled early in the morning. Overall, the noise and lack of AC made the stay uncomfortable.

Everything was just as expected, nice quit and relaxing. Even though It would have been nice to have let us know that the restaurant, bar, and spa was going to be closed during our stay. My husband and I still enjoyed the quit birthday getaway. I just would of loved the entire experience.

How do you turn a five-star experience into a two-star one? Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened during our recent stay at the Detroit Club. The visit started off exceptionally well. At check-in, we were warmly welcomed with two glasses of bubbly, and our bags were promptly brought up to our room—an excellent first impression. We valet parked and immediately made our way to the Library Bar, where we enjoyed a fantastic lunch and several drinks before heading to the Pistons game. The atmosphere and service were outstanding. We spent two nights at the hotel and genuinely enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, the facilities are beautiful, and the light breakfast each morning was a lovely touch. There was an added resort fee, which was a bit annoying, but acceptable given the overall experience. Then things went sideways. A couple of days after checkout, an unexpected $26 charge appeared on my credit card. When I inquired, I was first told it was for “missing taxes”—which made no sense as the stay was prepaid. I pushed back, and the explanation suddenly changed to items taken from the minibar. We absolutely did not touch anything in the minibar. What’s most frustrating is not even the $26—it’s the complete lack of service afterward. I emailed at least four or five times and called, with no resolution. When I asked for a manager’s name, I was refused. That’s simply unacceptable. It’s disappointing because the stay itself was excellent.

My room was clean and the hot water, heating and cooling all worked really well, towels were fresh and bedding was clean and comfortable. The fitness center was well-equipped if a bit small (it would be crowded if more than 3 people were working out at the same time). Breakfast eggs were odd-tasting, but I appreciated that there were some options and hot coffee available. I also really enjoyed the champagne upon check-in, and the location of the hotel was convenient to the waterfront and downtown restaurants and locations. The area seems to be safe and pretty clean.
