The Opal Condominium complex is located in the heart of Dewey Beach, DE. One block to either the Atlantic Ocean or the Rehoboth Bay, this condo is for those who like seeing the water! Take the elevator to the 2nd floor and enjoy the ocean and pool view. A non-smoking 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo unit designed to optimize your relaxation and enjoyment while staying in the best vacation spot the beach has to offer! Park your car in one of the two reserved spots for the week! Enjoy Dewey Beach's' small town convenience. While staying in the Opal, enjoy walk to shopping, restaurants, night life or venture out further and take the Jolly Trolley to nearby Rehoboth Beach and revel in the night life on the boardwalk without having to worry about parking!
This condominium has a comfortable open floor design, well appointed, fully stocked kitchen and comfortably sleeps five adults. Master bedroom has a queen bed and second bedroom has a queen bed and double bunk bed. Both bedrooms are fully furnished with a multi drawer dresser, large closet, LED HD Flat Panel TV, Blueray HD DVD player, and alarm clock. The living room has a NEW sofa which can converts to a queen bed for an additional sleeping space.
The kitchen is fully equipped and is furnished with stainless steel appliances, two coffee makers (standard and Keurig), granite counter tops, hardwood laminate floors, and a mosaic back splash.
New for the 2022 season, a 42 inch Samsung UHD flat panel TV , a new two person dining set strategically placed to enjoy the ocean view.
In 2022 we replaced all the fire extinguishers and added one in each bedroom and one in the kitchen. We replaced all the existing smoke detectors with vision impaired10 year battery strobe units. The kitchen disposal was upgraded to a unit with a 3/4 HP quiet unit. For added safety we have a fire extinguisher in the hot water heater closet. An additional fire extinguisher is located outside of the front door. The condo has built a building wide sprinkler system. There are LED emergency lights throughout the condo. These lights are motion activated and light up at night. They also double as a flash light when there is a power outage. Flashlights are in each nightstand.
For children, there is The John Waples fenced playground, located less than half a block away towards the bay for off beach enjoyment.
Our property is available year round with priority going to weekly rentals during the peak summer season.
** All renters must be 25 years old to rent and stay in our condo, unless you are a family with minor children.** No pets allowed per HOA.
Our standard arrival time during peak season is 4 PM and departure is 10 AM.
