Need improvement
When I book this hotel, I specially request stay at higher floor. Unfortunately, I was finally stay at 2nd floor. The room is still ok but if hotel can really fullfil my requirement would be better.

The hotel is nice, but for what we paid and had read on the reviews, I was expecting something much nicer. Most of the guests are work travelers and the feel of the hotel is pretty quiet. The meal service options are good and the rooms are pretty standard. One thing to improve would be recommendations for things to do in the area and Dhaka at large. We were first timers visiting and didn’t get anything very helpful.

Great hotel. But will avoid for now.
Great hotel with lovely staff - however, is currently undergoing renovations with very limited lift access. Would avoid for a few months until lift access is restored.

First class all the way
The hotel lives up to its reviews and you will not be disappointed. Breakfast was top notch, with a lot of western options. The room large with a nice bathroom and very clean.

The coffee is great and Yasmine is the best at customer service. The shower heads have mould indicating poor water filtration. The room service is not thorough at cleaning the rooms or bathrooms. There is dust everywhere. Waiters stand over you whilst you eat scooping your plate up as you take the last mouthful. They will chase you to sign for a meal yet expect you to wait whilst they figure out the bill. This is despite knowing you are a guest staying at the hotel. If a member of staff has a job considering customer service is lost. For example picking up laundry at 10pm then ringing the doorbell or calling the room at 10.30 at night because they have questions about the laundry. In another instance entering a room when a guest is asleep to spray insect repellent because that is the assigned job by management. The hotel staff need hospitality training and not be buttering your toast or cutting the bread. Much improvement needed.

Love the quiet street with trees. Close to city center but you would never know it. No honking! And the food and and outdoor sitting area is excellent…but no alcohol.

Reminds me of European boutique hotels
I have been staying in this hotel for last few years and always the stay has been fabulous! Break fast n food is amazing ! Coffee by yeasmin is superb. Thxb yeasmin I would like to names names of Francis , Hassan and Azim from front desk , they are very courteous and helpful. Will continue to stay here till I come to Dhaka

The Way has a posh feel. Lots of staff to help you, and a small shot of apple juice while checking in at 2 pm. But when checked in, we waited 35 minutes in the lobby for a room. Once in the room we had visitors bringing us a bathroom, more shampoo, etc. Ok. Maybe we moved in too soon. Complimentary breakfast was good. As vegans who avoid chilis, we found bread and fruits abundantly. Unspicu veggies included bean-dahl and roasted tomatoes, both good. The price of the restaurant for dinner is about $20-$40 per meal. In Bangladesh, that is what most of the staff at the hotel probably earn in a week. My wife much enjoyed the large bathroom area, but if we weren't long married, the see-through door to the toilet would have made things a bit awkward.

Highly recommended boutique hotel
Very nice boutique hotel in embassy area. Pool on top is really nice- enjoyed the sunbed several times when I had the chance. Breakfast is good. Dinner likewise.

The room is really comfortable. Location is great too when there is no traffic from the airport (around 20 minutes). The only drawback is that there was no alcohol available.

Clean, functional hotel for business travelers
I always stay there for extended periods while I am in Dhaka. It is a clean business hotel in a good location. Positives: rooms are well designed, though difffer from each other, all felt bigger than their real sizes, modern, clean and bright. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast buffet simple but adequate. Services are good, no complaints. Most guests are business travelers, or UN aid worker types. Negatives: not much amenities.

Great staff!
A very nice hotel in a hidden location. You feel far away from the heart of Dhaka which can be a good thing and also a bad thing. Good because it is a nice quiet, respite in a bustling city. Bad because you are far from the lively parts of the city that make Dhaka so great. Regardless, the service is outstanding and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Fantastic Hotel
Fantastic hotel, clean, modern, excellent food with amazing buffet dinner every night. Staff incredibly helpful and in a great area, will be staying here on any future trips to Dhaka.

Awesome Hotel
We cannot thank the guys at The Way enough. We booked in total 7 rooms with various dates for a family event. Each room was immaculate, well maintained and the hotel is a small boutique and a welcoming place to stay. The breakfast is outstanding with cuisine around the world. We also had lunch at the restaurant and the food is absolutely First class and so tasty. The gym is small but it does the trick. The infinity pool is stunning especially at night and it’s great to catch rays in the morning/noon. I cannot wait to stay at this hotel again and really look forward to my next visit. Thank you all at The Way for making my stay, my family and my friend’s stay, so brilliant and with lots of fond memories about the trip and the hotel.

Excellent location and friendliest staff
+ Welcoming staff + Excellent infinity pool + Unmissable breakfast - must try Egg Benedict, steaks, momos, also includes full continental, fresh fruits, juices and full main courses. + Gym (actually very tiny with a max weight DB 20kg and just 3 machines for cardio and a bench) - does the job though. + In room dining is good. + Rooms were mosquito free.

Excellent find, great base for all of Dhaka
The Way Dhaka is a name that was not so well known at the time of my trip, but I'm sure it will become one in months and years to come. Excellent value for a proper boutique hotel, the kind that is all too rare in South Asia--indeed, absent entirely from India's big cities. Smooth service, friendly but not obsequious, easy in and out and very fine little rooms (maybe big ones too). All of the in-room details were just so, and the upstairs dining room was a treat, day and night. Hotel staff were very helpful in arranging Uber pick-ups on request, which did make me wonder if there isn't room for a bettr way to set up an affordable ride service in Dhaka. This bit of Gulshan 2 is also an excellent base for visiting the rest of the city, traffic be damned. Thanks, The Way

Room was beautiful. Had to wait for 40 minutes at airport for other passenger who ended up being a no-show. Colleague left message for me but never got it. Arrived at 7 am and was charged for full prior night. Food was very good but wait staff could be more attentive. Lobby occasionally smelled like bug spray.

Visiting again
My second stay at the Way Dhaka is coming to an end. I am even more impressed this time around by room quality, staff service and food - I would state that Westin has been surpassed. Must be some of the best food in Dhaka. Not a single powercut or wifi blackout. Thorough secity check - and a very peaceful neighbourhood. Will definitely stay here again during future visits.
