“Pleasant place to stay for a weekend getaway ”

“This is a great property! It is close to a lot of restaurants. We even made the hour trip to New Orleans while we were down there! The property was fully stocked with anything you might need from the kitchen to the living room! It is very homey. We were kind of nervous about staying at a property with someone else but we didn’t even notice. Great host!”

“My family loved the place! Already planning another vacation and using this spot as a possible base to travel to different things within a couple of hours. Beds was great communication was great. Only down fall was the mosquitoes. We bought some citronella candles and was able to enjoy the deck the 2nd evening. We wanted quiet with a lil nature and still close to town. That’s exactly what we got. Great place!”

“We enjoyed our short weekend at this cozy cottage. It was a bit smaller than we expected, but it was clean and comfortable and worked for our small family for the weekend. We really enjoyed the proximity to lots of attractions, and my daughter loved the golf cart add-on.”

“We enjoyed The Sunset house so much! It’s well decorated, so clean, and really close to the beach. They stocked everything we needed and the host, Richard, checked in to make sure we were happy. We will definitely be back!”

“It was very. Cute little house at arrival. It had everything we needed. The only thing that was an issue was bathroom. The tub was difficult. My 80 yr old dad struggled. I really didnt like it either. It was a bit rough but once again it met our needs”

“Wonderful experience! From booking to leaving! Cute little cottage just perfect for what we needed! Very clean and cozy! The queen size bed was very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure! The owner thought of everything! From toilet paper to dog poop bags! We didn’t need a thing. The outdoor space was perfect for our pups to exercise. We couldn’t be more pleased! Plenty of restaurants to choose from within minutes. We’ll be back!”

“The house and yard are super nice and clean. It’s a peaceful neighborhood with little to no traffic. The backyard porch is pretty with a nice view of the bayou and lots of songbirds entertained us. BSL is a great little city, too. The food and shopping are great. Kim was quick to reply with questions and very accommodating; I wished we could have stayed longer!”

“Overal stay was Very Good. We rented a house and a condo. Didn’t really like the location of the house, but there were no problems. Condo was very close to beach. Appliances were a little outdated and beds could be upgraded also. Overall it was a Great last minute booking and reasonable price!”

“The home and property were so well kept, clean and very charming. There was plenty of outdoor space and seating to relax and enjoy your time. The beach is only a few blocks away, and several great restaurants within blocks. The check in/out and “things to know” process was so easy. And last, but not least, the story of Le Shabby Chateau, is so interesting.”

“Was a very nice property in a very centralized location. It was close to the beach, many eating places, and not too far from the casinos. Did miss watching NBA and NHL playoff games, as no network TV.”

“Was worried about safety at first because of the motel style next to the interstate but when I was able to check out property and room felt better. Beds were clean and comfortable. It was a little stuffy in the room since unit was off but it cooled quickly. ”
