It's on a very quiet lake and the description is entirely accurate. Peaceful and not too far away from grocery stores, liquor store and Digby - which has lots of amenities. 「The Bear River location was absolutely beautiful. The aspect from the suite and the winery terrace over the valley to the slope beyond looks all the world like Burgundy. The suite is in the winery building, a converted 19th century dairy barn, and has lots of antique charm and beautifully aged wood. 「We were two families with children and dogs and this was a perfect spot to stay for two nights. It had a beautiful view of the basin and two minutes from the ferry terminal. The owner was very welcoming and available 24/7. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The backyard was fenced so we could let the dogs out without worrying.」
