The location and views are outstanding! The rooms have a separate seating area and an outdoor patio facing the bay. The restaurant was fabulous and they are well informed about celiac disease and food allergies.

We had a beautiful stay at the lodge. Everyone was so friendly and inviting. The room was comfortable and the views were spectacular. Will definitely return for whale watching. The restaurant is incredible as well!

All staff were very helpful, on checking in we got to our room and it wasn't what we expected, turns out we only booked for the basic room with no lock for the bathroom. We paid extra for the upgraded room in one of these new refurbished building and it is so worth the money.

Island sunsets

This was my second stay here, 16 years apart. The lodge is up above the town, easy to get to from the ferry if you're driving (or in my case bicycling). Room was basic, but clean and it was very nice to be able to open the second door leading directly outside for catching the breeze. Onsite restaurant was tasty and even without reservations, the hostess was able to seat me. Hoping it won't be another 16 years before my next visit.
