“I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I have stayed in many hotels and motels across North America and in other countries and had no issues at this location and I can be quite picky. The building is clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. They have pet-friendly rooms with ample amount of outdoor space for dogs to run around. The breakfast bar and coffee were a nice extra feature.”

“I chose this property because of its proximity to the Mark Twain National Forest. The cabins are quaint and nestled together on a lit wooded path that's really relaxing to walk. Each cabin has a porch to sit on and enjoy the tranquility. My cabin, #5, had a small microwave, fridge, two chairs and a table. The bathroom had a full-sized tub shower. The AC worked great. If you happen to miss the deer, turkeys and rabbits I saw, there are some horses and friendly dogs on the property you can't……

“Very remote, if you’re looking for peace and nature this is the place. Host were more than considerate by leaving bare essentials food and snacks for the family. Ive never had that anywhere else. They were easy to contact and replied almost instantly everytime. The lodge has a great setup and just so remote nobody wanted to leave. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. Will be staying again if im in the area. Very highly recommend.”

“This is a very beautiful place out in the country a little log cabin you couldn't ask for anything better if you love the country the people is really nice no complaints about that very quiet and I would definitely go back if they would let me they only thing I can say is it is a long walk down to the cabin I definitely think it should be some way that you can take your stuff down and then bring your car back if you had to that's the only thing but it still wasn't bad I love being out there the……

“Great place to stay, home is extremely clean and very well appointed. Nice quite neighborhood and just a minute to restaurants. Less then 15 minutes to the dragstrip so makes it perfect if you are needing lodging for an event there. Communication is on point and easy check in/out. We will be staying again in a couple months”
