“The hotel is located in Lassi, and is just a short journey from the airport (approx 10 mins). The taxi journey was $20 from airport to hotel, and $25 from hotel back to airport, although a bus is available. The location is absolutely perfect for the amazing Makris Gialos beach, and a 5 minute walk to a supermarket and the beginning of a road full of restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop is directly outside the hotel. It looked as though the hotel and pool area had been completed……

“This was a perfect stay. The property is pristine and the staff beyond accomodating. They organised cars, taxi, restaurants and with great humour and a calm that was beguiling. The room and all of the hotel were spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. We could want for no more. The breakfast was fantastic and all home made by a member of staffs mum. Walkable to everywhere in town for drinks and food. We would not stay anywhere else. It is a perfect oasis of calm and good taste. The best……

“This hotel is in a great location. We are a couple in our 60s and it was an easy walk into the main town square passing many nice restaurants and bars en route. There is a supermarket across the road for convenience and a fridge in the room. The rooms are basic but very comfortable, we both slept well with air con. The door onto the balcony had a mosquito screen which meant neither of us got bitten at all. The balcony had a spectacular view . The ferry into Argostoli ran every half hour and……

“The room was cleaned every day, in fact the hold complex was spotless. Both Stelios and Anastasia were very approachable and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The area was really quiet allowing us to relax with no worries. Only 500 metres to Melissani lake/cave also a bonus. Coastal path into Sami took around 25-30 mins at a leisurely pace. There were 3 restaurants nearby in Karavomylos but plenty in Sami. There is a mini-market on the square for essentials but best go into……

“We booked a week here to visit our daughter who was working in Kefalonia and, for us the location was perfect. Just outside of the gentle, family friendly town of Lixouri on the Paliki peninsula. The apartment was right on the beach, facing Argostoli and the rest of the island. The view from the living room, and two of the bedrooms was stunning. You could easily sit there all day watching the mountains change colour and form. Our host, Kostas, was incredible. Always available, and only too……
