“All was great! ”

“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. “Moder, clean rooms w/jacuzzi tub and private outdoor deck. In floor heating; no noisy AC unit. Nice grounds to walk with our dog (pet friendly). Host provided outside movie and got a fire going. Hot breakfast (scrambled & sausage) plus good fruit, cottage cheese, yoghurt with usual coffee and selection of teas. Friendly staff who want to help. Property is well off the road and so peaceful. Restaurants are 5-8 mins away but parking is challenging as these are popular.”

“Excellent room. Immediate and courteous service. Just reopened after a major remodel, they need to iron a few housekeeping glitches, such as replacing cups, tea, and coffee. I'll be back. ”

“I loved the weird 70s decor in the room. Lots of funky lamps, so -- well lit! I do think there should be in-room coffee makers, not teabag type things. I ended up paying for coffee in the lobby. Also the shower took a long time to warm up and the heater didn't seem to work. However the view of the bay from the room made up for all that. And the grounds are amazing. We took several walks on trails and around the old buildings. We also have a wonderful dinner in the restaurant there. And we……

“I loved my stay at the VF hotel. There was a mix up when i arrived, but it was quickly fixed with a short call to the owners from the gal working there in the restaurant (who was extremely friendly and helpful). I loved the convenience of self-check-in and out and having the restaurant and bar underneath, which was amazing. Valley Ford has come a long way since i was raised in the area in the 80s and it is adorable and bustling with quaint eating establishments, the robust market, and the old……

“Boutique little hotel with lots of history and character. Quiet and great location about 10-15 min from multiple beaches. Across the street is a fantastic bakery with good coffee as well as a little general store with a decent amount of snacks, wine, beer beach toys and other odds and ends. Easiest checking in and checking out. It’s not the most luxurious or fancy, not a ton of amenities. Felt very clean and well taken care of. I would 100% be happy staying there again, because I’m a……

“Everything was wonderful. Stayed for my Husbands birthday. He really loved the comfort of the bed and pillows. We would really like to know the brand of the pillows. Very quiet and staff were exceptionally helpful. ”

“We loved staying here! My girlfriend and I stayed here on New Year's Eve and had a great stay. The inn is quaint and quiet, which made for a really pleasant way to ring in the new year. The room we had was very comfortable and unique. We drank wine at the wine bar in the lobby for most of our evening, and sat by the fireplace in our room for the rest of the time. Breakfast in the morning was really tasty as well, with a lot of different options. We would highly recommend this place to anyone……
