"This was a great stay. I was greeted by Vicky upon arrival. She did my laundry immediately. The room was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was amply supplied. It was very secure. The only problem was dogs barking throughout the night. This made sleep very difficult."

"We only stayed at the property for one night as a stopover between tours. The place is nice and very conveniently located within walkable distance to the few sights there are to see in Windhoek, and some restaurants and coffee shops. I got e-mails with two different unit numbers so there was some confusion at the check-in which one was the correct one. Also, the electric meter was not "filled up" so the security person had to contact the property manager to do that in order for us not to run out...

"Communicating with the host was frustrating. An hour before arrival there was still back and forth communication because she did not have the booking due some issue with her Vrbo account. Booking was made for 3 guests, bedding was only provided for 2 guests. Requested additional bedding, only duvet and pillows delivered at 9am, no sheets. Give this property a miss if you want to avoid frustration and poor service. "

"Overall the house is good. We were their first Stayz clients so there were little things that didn’t match Stayz standards. However Ramos was quick to remedy the problems. I have written a list for him to bring it up to scratch. The house is very large and with 2 lounge areas. "We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Barend's property. It was clean, spacious and well furnished. The beds and couch were very comfortable. We especially appreciated how well the air conditioning worked since we rarely experienced that at the other lodges around Namibia. The guard to The Village was helpful too.
