The property is a medieval estate, recently remodeled into a hotel. Our room had ancient wooden beams- very cool. The bed was firm but tolerable, pillows too thick as is all too common. Restaurant was good, food good, service a bit slow. Breakfast was a good, standard buffet. No lunch options on site. Note there are limited amenities, but a good value for the price. Check in is all digital, and don’t forget your phone, or let it run out of power because you need it to get into your room and lobby after hours. Overall I would consider staying again

This castle hotel was wonderful. The check in process was electronic but the manager was close by for any issues. Our room was way upstairs and while the hotel had an elevator, the last floor was only accessible by a small staircase. The room was large but ceilings were low in the upper room. The property was amazing and the restaurant on site was incredible for both dinner and the included breakfast. It was by far the best dinner we have had while on our 3 week travels. The food took a while to prepare so plan for a longer relaxing meal but totally worth it. The salad alone was incredible and then the risotto mushroom dish was to die for. We totally recommend staying at this hotel and enjoying the grounds and hiking trails close by.

Goed bed en lekker ontbijt. Uitbater is een hele vriendelijke man. Er was wat lawaai op de kamer van de afzuiging, dat was voor ons nu geen groot probleem, maar daar gingen ze naar kijken. Dus ben er zeker van dat dat ook wordt opgelost.
