"Raw food served at the Palapa, waited 1 hour for dinner and the palapa, waited 1 hours at the Koa à la carte. We also waited over 1 hour for fish tacos at the rooftop pool. My travel partner got sick. When she called down for bottled water it took 2 hours.
Many staff did not speak or understand English. Although I don’t expect this order something basic was often lost in translation. Getting coffee and water at the restaurants was always difficult. Place seems to be a tad run door and the doors in the room needed replacement.
Jorge was assigned as a butler as a free upgrade which was a nice surprise and he did an amazing job. I’d say he made our vacation the best!
At check in we were given a free upgrade however it was made to seem like he was doing us a favour BUT with Expedia a free upgrade is included.
Victor at the pool was great always inclusive and making things fun!
Overall this was an ok vacation.
This is my second time here and I’m not sure I’d return. I’d describe this place as a budge resort but worth the price overall. You get what you pay for."
