「浴缸花灑頭岀水太少，不足以淋浴。廁所出口有滲水情況嚴重。職員有發現狀況，但沒有即時按排換房服務。反而留言給我避免使用企缸。叫客人接受滲漏情況直至離開酒店。完全沒有考慮到客人需要及服務質素極差劣。需要經過投訴後才按排最後一晚才更換房間。」

「Friendly staff and clean, spacious room. Not easy to walk there from the rail station. However, One can get there easily through a steel bridge (which was not shown in the map) linking it to the Freeman’s Quoy Centre at the Peninsula, near the Premier Inn Durham. Good and reasonably priced dinner.」

「Overall, the room is warm and comfortable although it is relatively small, sufficient for move of one person. The bathroom is large and warm. One drawback is the location is not near to Durham town Center (35 -40 minutes walking distance) and go some slopes before reach the hotel. 」

「Easy to find location with hotel parking and NCP parking close by. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel had put on a late night bar with karaoke for after the Take That concert and it was great fun. Breakfast was excellent.」

「Stayed for one night to break up a long drive back from Scotland, and so pleased we did. The location is wonderful, we had a lovely walk along the track just behind the building near the river. Beautiful countryside, very peaceful and interesting to see the remains of a roman bridge and Fort close-by. The room itself was excellent, and the whole place had real character, nice food at the resturant too. Finally thanks to the staff for beong friendly and welcoming, I would love to come back...

「Attended wedding, the 'Chapel', reception room and reception all beautifully decorated. 3 course Meal for wedding reception was delicious, well presented & hot. Breakfast, cooked fresh was of a high standard. Staff very friendly & helpful, although not a lot of them, they seemed to be muti-tasking. Only complaint was the heating, far too warm in rooms, windows didn't open & no way to cool off. 」
