「Clean room, the lady on reception was so welcoming and allowed us to leave our bags as we had a later flight. Great location as it's about 20 minutes walk to the centre. Only thing I would say is bring portable chargers as we only had one plug socket in the bathroom.」

「A bit far from St Marco. Check-in process was great and the gentleman was very professional. All perfect except for checking out. I booked a pickup at the hotel and the lady insisted that I walked 10 min away over to the taxi port with heavy luggage to meet the driver there. How could I tell which driver and car? I ended up meeting the driver at the hotel but why did I have to fight for that? 」

「Very nice small boutique hotel with only 5 rooms. I like the design/deco a lot. Very close to ferry pier if you are from Rovinj. A little longer walk from the centre but it is acceptable. Quiet and clean room. Wonderful owner and staff. They are very helpful and responsive. I would certainly stay again.」

「Staff was excellent with helping us obtain transportation to and from the train terminal. They also helped arrange a last minute tour of the glass factory. Cocktails were very nice, not the largest selection, but well made.」

「Pensione Accademia is a rare find—set in a beautiful historical building with lush front and back gardens, which is quite unique for Venice. It’s quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the Accademia vaporetto stop. Rooms are spacious and the air conditioning works well, though the shower doors could use an upgrade.」

「Cute boutique hotel. Clawfoot bathtub/shower combo not ideal. Restaurant staff not overly friendly (especially during breakfast service). Came back late afternoon and house keeping was still servicing our room (no problem) so we went down to the restaurant to enjoy a glass of wine while we waited. We were told we could not sit at a table for just wine and would each have to order a meal (we had already eaten lunch, and were only there due to room still being serviced)」
