Fantastic place to stay

We stayed here for 12nights and it was fantastic The owner is so friendly and kind.Even brings us fresh veg from her garden .She told us about things going on in the area . The garden is amazing and a great selection of garden games. Also a beautiful sun canopy to sit under to have our meals. Just the perfect place to unwind and soak up the French sun

Great stay in the country

We had a wonderful family holiday at Jeannine’s farm house. The house was perfect for our family, we were travelling with a 2yr old and a 6 week old and the space outside for our 2 year old was amazing! Lots of toys and outdoor games to play with and a seating area in the shade to relax and have dinner. The house was clean and tidy and well equipped with everything we needed. Jeannines communication was great, and she was there to welcome us when we arrived. We would definitely stay again if we were visiting that part of France again!

Jeannine is such a lovely host - so kind and friendly. She made us a plum cake, plum jam and plum clafoutis!!! The garden is absolutely superb. Unfortunately the inside downstairs of the house was too small for our family of 4 on a rainy day - the living room is very small. We had a lovely stay despite that. Douchapt is a very small village that doesn’t even have a shop to walk to to get bread and milk so we would stay somewhere larger next time. Thank you Jeannine for a lovely stay.

A wonderful stay, perfect for Families.

The House was perfect for our family of four. Plenty of outside space to eat and play. The village is excellently situated to explore the local area by car. Plenty to do and see within a 30 minute drive. Jeanine is the perfect host, on hand with expert knowledge of where to visit and what to do. The house was very tidy and very well equipped. But the garden is the stand out feature, amazing to relax in as the children play or swim in the pool. Thank you for a great stay.

Une jolie maison ancienne qui a une belle histoire, elle est agréable, bien fraiche malgré les chaleurs. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut, la literie est parfaite. Le jardin immense avec ces arbres fruitiers, la piscine et ces jeux d'eau, bien des jeux pour les enfants. Et la propriétaire est juste parfaite, on se sent à l'aise de suite , très gentille, attentionnée elle nous donne de bons conseils pour les visites. Chez Janine et Patrice on trouve tout que vous avez besoin pour passer des vacances en France : aménagement rustique avec tout de même équipé avec tout, grand jardin bien entretenu pour se détendre confortablement. Pour ce faire, la maison est située à la périphérie du village et possède les propriétaires les plus gentils de la Dordogne. Cheres Janine & Patrice, merci encore pour les belles soirées avec vous. Une maison très agréable pour se reposer en famille

Maison très agréable, jardin vaste et bien entretenu avec une tonnelle en dur parfaite pour prendre ses repas l'été, piscine très appréciée des enfants. Propriétaire très sympathique ! Vacances comme on les aime!

Nous avons séjourné 2 semaines chez Jeanine et Patrice. Nous avons tout apprécié: la maison, les extérieurs (grand jardin avec piscine et table de ping-pong), le silence... Dès notre arrivée, tout est fait pour qu'on se sente chez nous! Jeanine et Patrice sont adorables et très accueillants. Les enfants et nous-mêmes étions emballés par notre séjour! Excellent séjour en famille dans une maison de campagne avec véranda très bien équipée (rien ne manque) avec un vaste terrain comprenant tonnelle, arbres pour se mettre a l'ombre, piscine, table ping-pong et un excellent accueil. Merci Jeanine et a bientôt.

Le jardin est très agréable. Cependant, il n'est pas clos et ne fait qu'un avec celui des propriétaires. La maison est petite, conformément à l'annonce mais est chargée de gros meubles empêchant le passage. La maison ne semble pas avoir été rénovée et est restée "dans son jus", avec du vieux papier peint qui se décolle, et des vieilles peintures. La chambre au rez de chaussée est humide et sombre. Pour être agréable, cette maison devrait être repeinte et les meubles devraient être remplacés par de plus petits et plus modernes. Et la cuisine devrait également être refaite car trop étroite pour passer à plus de 2 personnes. Les propriétaires sont agréables. Cette location, de par sa situation et l'état de la maison, ne devrait pas être louée à ce tarif.

Nous avions loué cette maison avec son grand parc pour du repos et des retrouvailles familiales. Nous ne pouvions faire meilleur choix. Tout est parfait à commencer par l'accueil : rien n'est compliqué, et le lieu qui est un havre de paix.
