It has become our happy place - hanging out in the sleeping porch elevated in the trees, reading and napping the lazy days away, going kayaking whenever the mood strikes, and hearing the loons at night. If you want to get away from the pressures of life, this is the cabin for you. We will be back once again next summer.”

“The 3 story renovation was beautiful along with the setting on the water and great outdoor spaces. The king bed had a pillow top but sat on a wooden frame that needs replacing with a spring but might be difficult due to the slanted ceiling. The keurig coffee was a nice extra. Close to Lester park. A marker to find the driveway would help since house is tucked back. ”

“This cabin reminded me of the title of the first "Little House" book - "Little House in the Big Woods." Our family loved it. The property is so peaceful and quiet, beautiful with all the pine trees. This place had everything we needed, and checking in and out was a breeze.”

“We stayed in house 3 for Grandma's Marathon weekend and it was perfect! My parents, daughter and my brother & his family all stayed together and we had more than enough room! It was great to be able to all stay together and so close to Canal Park for all of the marathon weekend activities! We stayed in house 1 last year and had such a great experience so we knew we wanted to stay in another of Heather & Steve's places for this year! We have already booked for next year with them and cannot wait!……

“It was a great getaway. The house and location where amazing. Just a little issue with a few of the games that we were looking forward to using. The oven didn't seem to heat properly when making pizzas the top was done but the crust was still doughy. The only other thing i would suggest is the handicap ramp to get into the property had a piece of wood making it hard to get onto the ramp itself. It was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. ”
