Well organized and well appointed home in a fantastic location! Easy walk to both Douglas and Saugtuck and everything you need for your stay. We stay in lots of VRBO’s and this one is great. We traveled after Christmas with family ranging from 10 to adult and everyone was comfortable. We would love to come back in the summer when we can take advantage of the rooftop area. Loved this house!

The house is in a great location, you can walk to downtown Douglas, a short drive to Saugatuck and Holland - and several beaches. The open kitchen, dining and living space were great for our group and the backyard is lovely! We cooked several meals and the well stocked kitchen was appreciated!

Had a wonderful stay in the modern villa! Fabulous location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Very quiet and restful stay for our annual Girl’s Trip. Spacious rooms beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and upgraded bathrooms. Well stocked and large kitchen for cooking. Took full advantage of rooftop and back yard with fire pit. Easy drive to Saugatuck and Oval Beach.

The house was great for our group of friends and family. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was very clean. We enjoyed the rooftop seating and fire pit in the backyard. The kitchen was very well stocked which made it easy to make large meals. We were able to walk to shops in downtown Douglas (including the Root Beer Barrel and Upscale Mercantile). Would definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect setting for a 2-day executive retreat with rooms for each member and great space and lighting for long meetings. The nearby restaurants provided a much needed break from the long focused days of planning and vision casting. The property is beautifully maintained with a spectacular view of the lake.

We had a wonderful time staying at Alex’s house with friends! It’s a fantastic property that is even bigger and nicer than the pictures show. We cooked every meal and were grateful for the well-stocked kitchen and dual dishwashers. Location is great too - a short walk to downtown Douglas and quick driver to Saugatuck or the lakefront. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful home that comfortably housed 14 adults for a weekend. Located in Douglas MI - you could walk to restaurants and shopping. The home had everything we needed for our vacation. Was a friends get-together with 5 couples. The place was clean, modern and we enjoyed the time in Douglas and Saugatuck thoroughly. Downtown Douglas is steps away from the house. We were able to view the lake across the house from the living room and the terrace. Will come again if Alex has availability of the home, as the drive from Detroit is easy. Alex was a great host and all the information left was easy to follow.

We stayed at the Douglas Modern Villa for a long weekend with 8 guys. We were in the area for an annual golf trip. This was the perfect property for our group. The pictures do not do it justice. The house is very large and well maintained. There was enough room for most everyone to have their own space. A few of us shared the bedroom with 3 twin beds, but it was comfortable. The yard is also massive with a great patio and fire pit. The neighborhood area seemed secluded and is very quiet. The house is just a short walk to the water and downtown Douglas. The walk to Sagatuck is reasonable (less than 1 mile). If you have a large group, consider this house! You won't be disappointed.
