Sweet Cottage

We had a great weekend with friends at Little Stuga. The cottage is charming…the outdoor space was incredible. This would be a perfect location when the chain ferry is operating. One of the mattresses really needs replacing. All in all, would stay again.

Perfect sister trip!

My sister and I stay in the Saugatuck area every year for a little getaway. It’s within driving distance to many cute little towns & we love going to Bowdies Chop House in Saugatuck. Best steaks around!

This property was very clean, cozy and well equipped to meet all of our needs during our stay. Its location is close to town, however is very private due to the trees and woods around the property. The deer visited daily.

Charming Cottage

We were looking for a place that felt like “vacation” and this place was lovely. The living room was cozy and the outdoor spaces relaxing. The porch was our favorite spot. We saw deer and wild turkey. We loved being close to Oval beach and we were able to catch the sunset. I would stay here again!

Quaint little cottage with everything you need for a little getaway. It’s very private, surrounded by greenery, and the wildlife is spectacular!!! Will come back and try to stay at same place!!!

Girls rock hunting summer getaway

Little Stuga was the perfect cottage for two of us! Everything was well maintained and well stocked. We enjoyed the screened-in porch, alot! Plenty of restaurants and rocky beaches nearby. We used the interurban transport to go over to Saugatuck for a cruise and dinner -- very convenient and adfordable! Hope to return next year!

Little Stuga is very cozy.

I have to say, Little Stuga exceeded my expectations. It was a very cozy stay. Everything was clean and there was everything that was needed. Just wish the weather would have been better so we could have enjoyed the outdoor areas. We were very disappointed that the fireplace didn’t work.

Lovely little get-away

It was our first trip to the Douglas/Saugatuck area. The property is nicely situated, tucked away in a little cul de sac away from the bustle of the waterways but really close to everything. Very homey and comfortable. Lots of outside sitting areas including one with a fire pit. Wildlife in abundance! Will definitely stay again.

Loved Little Stuga

This property is beautifully maintained. There are many different spaces outside, and the outdoor shower was fabulous. The inside was well-maintained and clean and had everything we needed. It was also in a terrific location for getting to Saugatuck and Douglas town centers and also going to Oval Beach. We would definitely stay again.

Adorable cottage close to the Dunes

This beautiful cottage had amazing outdoor spaces. The recliners on the screened-in porch were by far our favorite. Well equipped, well maintained, clean... it is a perfect place for a short stay near Douglas and Saugatuck. There was a lot of communication (too much) about check out time but other than that, it was a perfect experience.

Wonderful Private Cottage

We had a great time at Little Stuga! Very clean set back from road which offered a quiet getaway for us to relax at the end of the day. The outside had several different sitting locations which we appreciated. After the beach the outdoor shower was lovely and we were happy sand wasn’t tracked everywhere. The care package with shampoo, soaps, lotions as well as items for the kitchen and laundry soap was a nice added touch. I highly recommend Outside Coffee across from the Root Beer Barrel and Wild Dog Grille for dinner both within 5-10 minutes of the cottage.
