“House Rules: Respect our towels and sheets? Need to be clear. Does this mean they are for the owner since this is a rental in their house; because I didn’t get to use any. I don’t know both were used by the same person or what. Leave a towel and wash cloth in the room instead. Thank you.”

“This place felt like home. The check-in was very good and this place felt like home. Had everything we need to cook and very cozy apartment. Would absolutely book if you’re visiting New York.”

“The unit was very nice and clean. The check in process was also very easy. Only thing I didn’t like was the noise coming from the unit above me. The floors and walls are thin. Should consider insulating the floor in the upstairs unit with carpet or something.”

“We stayed at Guy's place for a couple months while a construction project was going on at hour house across town. It's a great location and Guy is a very responsive and helpful host. He went out of his way to help us find a place to keep my son's bike safely and was on top of any issues we had. No complaints, I recommend Guy and any his properties wholeheartedly.”

“The streets where this is located seemed safe, fine generally. The area of Irvington seems to be underinvested in, so lots of trash around, and the street parking is wild (parking on main thoroughfares leading to cars zigzagging around and sudden stopping) if you're not from NJ. Doesn't affect the rating of the place though, just be aware of that. Pros: - The building is newly renovated - Finishings in the bathroom and kitchen are really nice, the space itself was decorated in a cute way -……

“Listing was accurate! Apartment was clean and nice! They supplied shampoo, conditioner, body wash & enough towels for the family! Even more than enough toothpaste! I have 6 kids so a broom would have been a game changer, there was a dustpan, but I couldn’t find the broom. Using the bissel vacuum was okay-but I’m tall so I had to bend over while vacuuming. Yes i clean on vacation, too many kids not to! The location was super convenient to the orange train station which was AMAZING! Easy walk with……

“First thing that was important to me is cleanliness, then safety. I felt extremely safe and it was very clean. The owners were fabulous! By the time I left after the week we spent there I felt like I was leaving my family! I will stay there every time I go to New Jersey!”

“Great location and perfect for our base for a trip to The Big Apple! 5 minute walk to Brick Church train station and less than 30 minutes later we were in Penn Station in Manhattan! The place was clean and updated. The in apartment laundry was a great feature. There was only 1 parking space reserved but there were several spots behind the Family Dollar. The host was great with communication.”
