“We loved our stay. Perched high in the mountains, an easy stroll into town. Nimal is a wonderful host, so friendly and knowledgeable. Yummy breakfasts. ”

“Property as difficult to reach by vehicle, particularly at night. Situated a long way from Ella with very limited dining options. Rooms are very basic with no amenities. Breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. ”

“This property just made me feel like I wasted all my money.I didn’t get what I paid for.Few things just made me annoyed: 1) The entire room was nasty and not cleaned properly. 2) It was smelling so bad from bathroom drainage. 3) The bathroom drainage was so bad and the entire shower area got flooded. 4) No towel was there and finally I had to call them to provide towels. 5) We found lots of insects which was unexpected. Apart from those all the staffs were so friendly and tried to help but……

“Lovely staff, clean rooms, view of Ella valley. Difficult to find, so it's best to have driver call ahead if possible. Look for the signs pointing towards Red Rock Ella,.which is next door. ”

“Pls do not stay here. It is a scam. We gave us rooms that we did not book, in the basement of the motel. The sink had spider webs and termites were crawling on the bathroom counter. Towels were stained, fridge had mold, Mountain View was non existent. The stench was unbearable. Staff were incompetent. ”

“The "Loft" was in the basement.. no windows. Maybe they just opened up as no”

“This hotel has up side and quite a bit down sides. The big up side is the breathtaking view and the perfect staff (Gadjen). The down sides are both the fact that in order to go to Ella you must take a tuktuk. The owner taking advantage of the hotel isolation from the city and chrges unusually expensive rate for breakfast, whuch we were not informed in advance. 2 family breakfast cost as much as a night's stay in the hotel.”
