“It was very pricey, but suites were really nice, everything was immaculate and the staff were nice Only issue was the restaurant was closed for a private party. With a big event in town that shouldn’t happen And it’s part of the ammenities we paid for”

“We had a great stay! Although our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, the staff quickly made it right by upgrading us to another room, which we really appreciated. The hotel’s location was fantastic. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The only minor downside was breakfast. We arrived toward the end of the breakfast hours, and most of the hot items had already run out. It would have been nice if they had been replenished a bit longer. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and……

“The Finnley is more an Air B&B than hotel. Excellent location, easy access, and felt private. The room was very well decorated feeling like a loft apartment. The bed was comfy. The only recommendations I would give to the property manager would be to provide more towels and a larger trash or a suggested place to take trash. A note: there is no parking at this hotel. The parking garage across the street cost us an additional $48 per night.”

“This was definitely a unique experience and was perfect for a quick visit to Grand Rapids for a work trip. You can walk to shops, amenities are all around, I was 4 minutes from the office and street parking was free and abundant. This was very similar to an Airbnb experience, self check-in and out without the list of tasks to do. The room was clean, bathroom was clean and the room had adequate supplies and a steamer, which was super convenient. It’s great if you need a quiet place to stay……

“Clean, friendly reception & good location if you are going Ada. Great looking hotel with functional downsides. The flooring, doors & lobby area restaurant are quite loud unfortunately. Seemed to be no soundproofing between rooms. Earplugs may be helpful. Only slow EV chargers so pack your patience & plan accordingly for those who need that.”

“Everything was great except I stayed there three nights and there was never any housekeeping done. I had to ask for additional bath towels.”

“Great property. Very responsive. I do suggest that there should be more seats available outside. There were only 2 chairs and a little wobbly table. Best part was meeting Tina the beautiful silver lab that lives on the other side of the ditch between properties.”
