“bathroom was not in the cottage but sharing space was very clean.”

“Great place for a quiet water side getaway. We caught some really nice fish.”

“What an amazing view!! Pilot Mountain in the distance and surrounded by fields and pasture. So private and gorgeous. We got to watch a family of 7 deer, including a buck with an impressive rack, graze in the next pasture over. Our dogs loved the yard, and the deck is situated so the view is at its best. We loved the uniqueness of the inside of the home, and was well appointed for making our own meals. Also enjoyed watching the World Cup semifinals on TV in the living room. Definitely putting……

“The house was absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed our time there!”

“Second stay at this lovely location. We were able to experience more outside activity this year as we brought our son (14) and our daughter (22) stopped by. Plenty of room to run and play.We will definitely come again next year for our AnniverSCARY (10/31). Thank you to the owner for the updated heat source and unique experience!”

“We did have a wonderful day. The only reason I gave four stars is because the trees where you park need to be cut back. When we were leaving this morning, Our car was completely covered in sap. We had to spend two hours at the car wash trying to get it off. Will definitely stay again if this issue is resolved.”

“Jodee was a fantastic host! She was available by text for any questions. The property is top notch! Right by the creek where the deer meet daily, you have a hammock and bench to relax. You have all the amenities you would need and more! For sure will recommend and look to for the future!”

“If you are ready for a reset, this is your place. It is the most calming property I have had the pleasure to stay at. It exudes all the very best vibes and is a gorgeous testament to its former glory as a cider production facility and showroom. I could feel love and pride pouring from every nook and cranny throughout my lovely stay. Diane and Chuck--it was a true privilege to stay here. Thank you so much!”

“We booked a one night stay at The Starry Snug for a quick anniversary getaway. It was WONDERFUL from start to finish! It is such a CLEAN cozy space and feels just like home. It literally has everything you need and then some. The shower is HUGE and even though we had a slight issue with the water draining, my husband was able to plunge it when we were done which seemed to fix the issue. The bed is SUPER comfortable and the fan over the bed is just enough on low. We will MOST DEFINITELY be back!”

“Beautiful place to stay.”

“My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Wind Song! Beautiful place, very clean and comfortable! We had a relaxing stay, misty mornings in the hot tub... LOVE! We will definitely stay again!!”

“This is the cutest little farmhouse! So comfortable, clean, and the host is extremely helpful and friendly! Also, there are some hidden gems nearby to try out, like The Palisades Restaurant! Go Hokies!”

“We loved this house and hope to stay here again! The only thing is water doesn’t drain well in the shower and bathroom sink. This house was perfect for our family.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The home reminded us of childrenhood with our grandparents. It was a short drive to all kinds of thrift shops and antique stores which we love. The restaurant next door was awesome. The host was easy to communicate with.”

“It was an awesome stay Comfortable, private and very clean.I recommend this location.”
