“After tent camping in Heber Springs since 1988, we came upon this lodge due to thunderstorms predicted. This was my best and favorite experience there. The cabin was spacious for everyone and the view of The Little River is breathtaking. My family enjoyed the guided fishing tours all inclusive. It stormed hard all night long and we enjoyed the rain on the tin roof instead of floating in our tents. The Lucky Trout Lodge is our new favorite family tradition. Thank you guys for your wonderful……

“Room and sheets were clean. Shower curtain and towels rack was falling off the wall. Hole in the ceiling looked like a plumbing repair. Check in was friendly, but please do not announce my room number out loud.”

“No coffee pot and terrible wifi. Other than that it was peaceful, the view of the lake was amazing, and the staff was very helpful.”

“Parking is free but may have to park in the adjacent bank parking lot. Beds are comfortable, attached restaurant food was very good.”

“There was no breakfast available besides a waffle maker. The staff said there was nothing else. And very rude. The bed was very hard I tossed and turned all night it wasn't comfortable at all.”

“The beds weren't comfortable. Didn't like the pillows. They feel cushy until you lie down. The room was very clean. Nice to have the kitchen although we only reserved one night. ”

“Its was an okay place. Mattress was a bit hard and there were people partying in the parking lot until 3 AM and that kept me awake. It was basically fine though”

“Great location as far as the restaurant is in walking distance and another great restaurant right down the road, just about 5 miles for downtown Mountain View. Beautiful lake to sit on the deck and look at. You can not fish from your cabin, which was disappointing, the cabin is just basic. Clean and neat, but no amenities, whatsoever, but a beautiful location.”

“After checking in I parked and noticed cigarette butts in front of the doorway, maybe 7-10. I got in the room and pulled the comforter back to sit on the bed and immediately noticed that the sheets had not been changed. I pulled the top sheet back and there was a drop of bright red blood on the bottom sheet. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was no hand soap and there was an unknown spot on the hand towel. I went to the check in window which said “no refunds” and a woman came to……

“Thankful that I could book at the last minute for a group of 5. The check in experience was great. We arrived late (4am) and were able to get right in via an electronic door code. The beds were absolute heaven! Everyone in my group agreed. Best nights sleep I’ve had in months! I was pleasantly surprised to find enough toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc to last our entire stay. Usually rentals just give you one roll and you have to supply the rest. There were plenty of towels, blankets……
