The cabin was perfect! Just the right size! The host seems to have thought of all of the needs from toiletries to kitchen! The view from the back porch is perfect for relaxing with a good book and to view the sunrise and sunset! The host was welcoming and communicated all important info before my stay. I’ll definitely be bookmarking this place for the future!
We planned a trip to this area for a Valentine's Day hike and "BBQ crawl". Amazing BBQ nearby at Pig Pen or JPs in Wimberley! Close location to Pedernales Falls State Park where we hiked Wolf Mountain and LBJ State Park visit in Johnson City. It was nice to come home to a gated secluded rental with excellent views from back porch in Avita but also enjoyed spending time on covered front patio during the rain. This unit accommodated everything we needed for our visit with plans to eat out, no oven so we did bring our toaster oven for snacks. Had a great time and Elwood communicated well. Not a lot of check-out requirements which was nice! Highly recommend this unit and there are other units available depending on your needs.
This was a great place to stay! Very quiet and easy to get in and out of. There were amenities in the bathroom such as towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap! The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. 5 stars and would stay again!
We enjoyed staying here! My kids loved roaming around the 30 acres and the house itself was spotless and felt brand new. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!
Tucked into the hills near Dripping Springs we very pleased to find a quiet and very clean rental. Communication with management was great and the rental exceeded our expectations and met all of our needs. We will definitely stay here again when the occasion presents itself.
Perfect secluded getaway. Relaxed time away from the hustle and bustle of life. The beautiful scenery and quite nature was therapeutic. We were able to unplug and enjoy the simple things. The home was clean and perfect. The star gazing at night was beautiful. Not a lot of furniture on the back patio but was perfect for us, we rolled out our own blanket and laid down to stare at the stars. The scenery driving in and out of the location was beautiful with his, trees and deer. We stayed for 3 nights, 4 days and could have stayed much longer. If you are looking for a secluded stay, with beautiful scenery, yet close enough to drive in to town this is your spot. We came to hike a few parks (Pederanales Park and River and Hamilton Pool Reserve) and visit a few local distilleries and cute, quaint restaurants and did some shopping in the small town on Mercer St. Enjoyed every bit of it.
