“Had a great stay at St Angela's, very comfy with beautiful seroundings, no breakfast or deli was a bit of a let down, still a great staycation. ”

“We ( two families with 2 children under 6 each) stayed here for a long weekend. We loved the proximity to the beach, to the view as well as cows and sheep, and access to the beach bar which was excellent. The house though plenty large enough for us, was very open, which meant sounds travelled ( babies crying either early in the morning or late at night). It was cozy and had all that we needed. Host was so lovely and helpful, easy to reach if we needed anything.”

“The Sligo Sea Barn exceeded our expectations with its spacious, picturesque and accommodating location. It was perfect for our large group gathering with its beautiful newly renovated home. It was extremely clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We cannot say enough about our hosts Mary and Des! They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Their sincere and gracious hospitality was unmatched. There was a wonderful walking trail nearby with beautiful views and its beach front……

“A great base to take trips out from. The house was perfect for our family. We cook a lot and there was everything we needed to prepare home cooked food for our family. We all settled in very easily with very clear instructions from the owner. The town is very quaint with lots of walks locally and a bit further afield. We adventured to fossil filled beaches, mountain walkways, limestone caves, Neolithic tombs, fairy filled forests and Supervalu supermarket. We had a wonderful time and may well……

“The cottage is very cute and gives the experience of an authentic Irish country cottage however it wasn’t as tidy as a renter should expect and we had issues with the hot water and radiator heat the entire time of our stay. We addressed the issues with the owner and he tried to rectify the hot water and heating but we never had consistency the entirety of our stay. We also brought up the tidiness issue right away, we cleaned up ourselves, and he said he would address it with his housekeeping……

“After a couple of weeks seeing the UK and Ireland with 9 of our kids and grandkids, we wanted a few days to rest. We loved being in the Sligo area and dining at the nearby Beach Bar. Downpatrick Head was great to see & we even drove to the Giant’s Causeway while we were in the area. Sheila’s house was a nice place to rest and relax. We loved attending church in nearby Screen. A great ending to a great trip!”

“The Apartment was great had no faults, my family loved it, great location and great scenery, only downside there was no WiFi for kids to watch their tablets also no channels on the tv which was really needed one of the days that it rained the whole day, tho the dvd collection made up for it.. Overall a great apartment for a family and a great place to stay.. Thank you Regards Paul....”

“Lovely property on Aughris Head. We were able access locations throughout Co Sligo. It was a bit hard to find initially but the EIR code made it easy (ask the host for this and enter it in Google maps). We loved being surrounded by sheep, green pastures, and the sea. Host was responsive and helpful.”

“This historical property's facade and surroundings were awe inspiring . The hotel itself while clean and comfortable is managed like many cookie cutter hotel chains and that is not necessarily a bad thing. You can checkin at a kiosk and get your room key automatically and checkout online. Breakfast was buffet style and very generous. ”
