The rooms and property is run down. There was a terrible smell from one room. The toilet wasn’t working in the other room. They provided us with a plunger to fix it! The staff is friendly and tries to manage the best they can. But the rooms are too run down and need deep cleaning and maintenance

Check in was easy and there was fresh coffee. Breakfast was good and unexpected. Staff were super friendly. Light in the bathroom was dying and they fixed it right as soon as they could.

This property is a good option for a few nights in Drumheller. Everything was very clean. Front office staff were friendly and helpful. I found the bed too soft but that’s a personal preference. There is a small kitchenette so this would be a great option for families.

First of all I have to say they had the best fridge I've seen in a long time in a motel. It's so simple, but it makes a difference if you're travelling for awhile and maybe want to buy your own food... the fridge had a separate freezer, not one of those tiny slots at the top of the fridge but a proper freezer section. It wasn't large, but it made a difference to me. Despite being a bit older and in need of some TLC, I enjoyed my stay and it was clean with a good size room and in a great location for going either into town or out to the various tourist hot spots. If you don't need your place cleaned, they have the old "Do not disturb" sign, which I'm finding is rare now for some unknown reason. No elevator, but it's a short set of stairs upstairs. It's right on the river, which has a scenic walkway that takes you to "downtown". Their breakfast is super simple (partly why I appreciated the fridge and microwave in the room) with a pancake maker being the most impressive thing - the kids loved it. Otherwise, it's cereal, juice, coffee, yogourt, apples, or toast. The rooms have the usual AC, microwave, TV, coffee, wifi.

Kids bitten by bed bugs the first night. Tried calling multiple times to cancel our reservation for the second night and no one would pick up the phone. Won’t refund us for the night we cancelled. Will never stay here again and will tell everyone to avoid this place.

It's a very unkept dirty motel. The curtains had visible stains from the windows. Our curtains had holes. The room next to us looked like it had a bullet hole in it. The sheets were visible dirty (looked like boogers on them), looked like they had been slept in. Asked for clean sheets and the front desk dug through a massive pile in the back for a new sheet and handed them over in a big ball (not folded) those ones were yellow and had a 1.5" rip in the middle and big grey stains. Went and asked for a third set, which had pubes and other hairs, and a small blood stain (red, so didn't look old and washed). The green bedspread was like swiss cheese with so many holes. It was covered in a stained white sheet. So gross. The walls are super thin and we could hear everyone beside and above us. The bathroom had been recently renovated with new tile and tub, but the grout was orange which tells me it hasn't been cleaned properly. In the morning, the staff started mowing the lawn at 9am. All in all it was the worst motel I have ever stayed in, and my kids were begging to not stay the night.

I was scared seeing the 2 star for the property so we went with really low expectations. We were blown away. Super clean room. The bathroom was immaculate. We had a fridge with a freezer, a microwave and a Kureg machine. Super impressive. The bed was super clean and the pillow was so nice... Front desk staff was wonderful and friendly. Breakfast was really good. More than I was expecting. There is no seating inside but there is an area outside to eat. We took food back to the room. We really like the options. There was 6 of us (2 adults and 4 kids) and we all enjoyed out stay. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is in a very good location with many restaurants and close to tourist attractions. There is a playground nearby for those with kids and lots of dinosaur statues around. I recommend!

It was a fantastic abd affordable place to stay in Drumheller. The room was comfortable and well equipped, although the beds were a bit firm for our taste but this wasn't a huge issue. We didn't try the breakfast so I cannot comment on that. Please be aware that the property backs onto a river, so it's buggy, especially after a rainfall.
