「We really liked the location, the room size was fantastic. Large fridge which was unexpected. Microwave, kettle, toaster all the amenities. Just a bit dated and in need of TLC, but that wouldn’t stop us from staying again.」

「A charming house in the middle of nowhere. Loved listening to the birds and watching the sheep, rabbits and ducks from the veranda. Fireplace heats though the whole place. We will be back」

「10 mins walking distance to Macedon Railway Station, this hotel is convenience to anyone who is not driving. Besides, we made dinner at the self-serviced kitchen, this is also one of the good features of this motel! However, the hotel is suggested to pay more attention on HOUSEKEEPING. No one came to clean the room for few days and we have to request and ask for toilet papers twice for a long period of staying there.」

「Prompt response to any questions, very quick communication. Easy self check in. Nice little touches and attention to detail. Comfy Bed, Good heating. Parking a bit tight, but we parked ok. Great restaurant/pub across the road. Walkable to main street, but beware of distance if you want easy walkable access to everything.」

「No wifi available, which was very disappointing. The gas heater turned off regularly (every 15 mins or so) and had to turned on again so the room was not continually cosy and warm. There was a reverse cycle air conditioner but that was not sufficient to heat the room for Winter temperatures. There was very little reception for the TV so not all channels were available. The room itself was nice and big and set out well but definitely needed some maintenance, particularly to the front door and...

「Great stay for a family of five in older style motel setting. Clean and comfortable and close to town. Heating worked a treat and we appreciated the electric blankets, spare blankets and pillows. For a budget family stay in Daylesford it does the job perfectly.」

「Love our stay! The building itself is a beautiful historic architecture. We stayed in the Zebra room, the view was stunning overseeing the whole town. Breeze coming in from window was really nice. Fireplace and deep bathtub are also highlights of our stay. The host provided generous breakfast bits and small snacks for us in the room, it was very sweet of them! Also love the contactless check in and out, plenty of privacy for couple, We will definitely come back. 」
