Unique experience so close to Macon

We visit the area often and this place is quite unique with horses and chickens and tons of walking/riding trails. Perfect time of year to go! Larry was friendly and readily available.

Beautiful property, great for hurrication

It was lovely, the property was beautiful and the barn was too. We were evacuating from SWFL during hurricane Milton. The ad on Vrbo said it could sleep 12 people but when we got there we realized you could comfortably sleep 8. But they were very kind under the circumstances, we had a lot of people and our fur babies with us. The only other thing that bothered me was I received a call while on a hike with my kids and the owner told me we couldn’t walk the trails/near a lake for insurance purposes.

Family getaway

My kids & grandkids had a wonderful few days in this beautiful, clean ranch home. Larry, the owner was very accommodating & welcoming to our family! We had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed riding the horses, chasing the chickens, seeing the deer & bunnies & this private home provided them with a safe place to be free & run around. The grandkids loved having the loft for a huge sleepover!

Amazing Fun Time-in Georgia

We were in town for a family wedding in the area. This barn retreat was an unexpected surprise. Our daughter has nine children and this location was perfect. Our grandchildren loved the amenities so much. The host was so easy to work with and went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. Having the barn animals, lovely hiking trails and such friendly folks right on the property made our stay delightful. It is a beautiful piece of property.

What a great place to stay. The host was very accommodating and met us at the gate to show us in. My son and his wife live in Macon now and this was our first visit, the property is immaculately kept. We will be staying here everytime we come to visit. So peaceful at the ranch. We loved our stay. Ranch staff were very. Thanks for allowing us to stay we will see you in March when our grandson is born.

Hidden Gem!

Words can hardly describe the farm house and the pictures do not do it justice. The owners Larry and Mindy were exceptional in every way, and take care of their guests. The property is very well maintained. The house is very well equipped with all your cooking needs as well as comfort! Our kids loved the horses and chickens. Close enough to Macon but yet feels a world apart with peace and tranquillity. If you are staying in the area this property is a must! We will be back!
