Abbey Court is a great place to stay, situated within walking distance of key sites in Dublin. The beds were reasonably comfortable, showers and other bathroom facilities were clean, and we enjoyed the bar, eating, and activity areas. The murals add charm to the hallways and stairwell. The free breakfast was fantastic. Thx very much for a great stay!
Very clean and comfortabel. Very good value. But location is very loud. Room nr 13 is horrible if you are a sensitive sleeper. Every time someone opens the door in the hallway, you can hear it loudly, waking me up all night and morning. So sleeping was not possible
Breakfast was included in my booking. However I had to prove that as I was asked to pay for breakfast at the reception.
By the way on the right hand side of the entrance there’s a big sign with some points one of which is “free breakfast”.
It was ok, but no lift up to the top flor (4 levels) which was definitely not good for anyone with physical limitations. Should add that I stayed in a single room, which was next door to the hostel, so unclear if the hostel has a lift or not.
But it was a comfortable room, quiet except for the damn seagulls that are squawking all day and night! No A/C for those who require it, but it was cool weather there while visiting with a storm pasing through.
Listing said they had a washer for clothes bit it was "out of service", which was the second of three hotels I stayed in that claimed that over an 8-day period, so needed to spend an additional $20 to do a sigle load at a laundromat.
Overall, the location was great, right in the heart of Dublin, room was comfortable, and close to everything. As mentioned in another review, lot of homeless and addicts in the area, with many cops just standing around in groups and not doing much to make tourists feel safe as the homeless are a bit aggressive. Cops are clearly reactive, not proactive, so unfortunately they probably won't do anything until something happens, which can be too late for someone.

General
Great location, easily accessible by bus from airport. Lots of communal spaces and breakfast included. Lockers under beds for suitcases and a fairly spacious dormroom. We had a bathroom in the room which is great. It was tiny though. Shower water was very hot at times and because the shower head is attached to the wall and space is tiny there's no way of avoiding the hot water.
This property is in a great location from which to catch airport bus, it is also in a good location from which to explore the city. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. There was a bit of noise at night so earplugs are recommended. The showers are a one temperature deal - slightly hot but ok. Overall, I had a great stay.

Four flights of stairs with a suitcase and no lift wasn’t ideal. Couldn’t turn around in shower without knocking the nozzle off.
Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast facilities were good, loved the artwork everywhere.
Check in staff was not friendly at all, even felt rude. Location is good but the facilities and layout of dorm is bad. Worse is they charge on everything even for storing luggage. 3 euros. Not going back ever
Some of the reviews on this hostel talk about the cramped rooms and the tiny showers. They are that. However, this is a hostel with a fantastic location right in the heart of Dublin, with a great free breakfast to get you away to good start to your day and wonderful helpful staff who seem eager to help you enjoy your time in Dublin. Hostels aren't for people who want the facilities of the Ritz or Carlton. This hostel however, is the Ritz or Carlton of hostels, notwithstanding the smaller rooms and showers.
Superställe att bo på på alla sätt!! Ska jag gnälla på nåt får det bli några av herrarna i personalen (både i repan o på frukosten) som borde prova nån charmkurs o öva sig i att le. 😉
Most all the staff, except one, was friendly and knowledgeable. Hair dryers , hair straighteners, towels, umbrellas... everything is available... for a price. Luggage staorage should be free or discounted for guests. The hammocks needs to be cleaned. They offer great trips and are I a superb location. For the price it’s worth it, but the Nicole and dime a lot.
