We spent two nights at Apartment Ante and we loved our stay! We were warmly welcomed by the host who lives next door and really enjoyed the well thought-out layout, beautiful design, and practicality of the space. The unit we stayed at is laid out as a studio, with a bedroom space that can be separated from the living area by curtains. The bathroom is superb, the kitchen very well-equipped and the view on old Dubrovnik from the balcony absolutely amazing! A few things to be aware of: 1. The street is basically a lot of stairs and reaching the apartment requires climbing the equivalent of three tall stories - with luggage. 2. Although the kitchen has salt, pepper and sugar, there was no coffee or tea available, so bring your own. 3. The nearest market also requires a good amount of stairs climbing so plan accordingly. And with all the said, we're already recommending this unit to friends and we could consider returning for another visit to Dubrovnik!

The hosts were very nice. We opted for the airport pickup. Well worth the price as they meet you at arrivals, make sure that someone meets you at the bottom of the stairs ( yes, there are stairs!), help carry luggage up. Wonderful views of the old walled city. The host Maria even did our laundry at no charge. Great spot for 3 nights

Great place to stay in Dubrovnik

The apartment was nice, especially the balcony. Windows had blinders, so we slept well. There were a lot of stairs from old town to apartment (which we knew in advance), but it was rather easy to get taxi as well for the uphill (which we did for most of the time). Owner was very nice and available when ever we needed.

We were very impressed with this apartment! First of all, the service was fantastic. I had some travel issues on the way here and ended up arriving much later than I originally told them, but they were still awake and waiting for me even though it was after 11pm, I was so grateful! And they were friendly when they greeted me and showed me around the apartment, even after I made them wait so long. The hosts live right next door, so you don't have to worry about being stranded or left in the dark. The views from this apartment are amazing, and there is a small patio in the front where you can watch the city at night, it's very nice. And since it is not directly in old town it is so quiet and peaceful at night. The apartment itself is very clean, has everything you need, has air conditioning, showers were hot. Everything was great. I will say, it is a walk up a lot of stairs to get from the old town nearby to the apartment, but what do you expect for such great views. If you have trouble with stairs this may not be the place for you, but you will also struggle in old town Dubrovnik because it is all stairs throughout the city. I would suggest planning out your day so you don't have to make as many trips back to the apartment. You could also get a taxi which takes you most of the way but there is still one last set of stairs you have to go up from the road where they drop you off.

Nydelig utsikt og hyggelig vert!

Vi hadde noen utrolig fine dager i Dubrovnik! Nydelig utsikt fra balkongen, rent og fint rom, godt utstyrt kjøkken og god service fra verten. Ekstra bonus at vi ble kjørt til flyplassen siste dag og at de ordnet med bagasjen vår alle trappene ned fra leiligheten.

The apartment is perfectly located, just outside the city walls. You have to walk quite a few stairs, but also can take an uber. We especially enjoyed the beautiful view we had from the balcony. The apartment has everything you need and the owners were very nice and welcoming. We also booked our transfer through them. It was well-organised and a comfortable way to get to and from the airport.

I booked it for the view, which did not disappoint! I loved that view even though it came with many many many stairs (which I knew would be the case based on other reviews). Friendly hosts, lovely and private terrace where I spent most of an afternoon with a book and some snacks, and comfortable living room for watching TV (I enjoyed some Seinfeld myself). I didn’t cook anything per se but it was nice to have a full stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and coffee maker at my disposal. I found a convenience store and got some coffee grounds and milk to have my breakfast tradition away from home and that was nice too. There’s even a turtle living in the garden, adding to the charm! If your legs can take the climb, it’s well worth the stay.

Very lovely apartment. Quiet and with a great view. Hard to find which isn’t explained, it’s halfway down a stairway so get a taxi to take you near to it on the map then you’ll have to head up or down the stairs depending on the rd you’re dropped to. It’s a short walk to the cable car and 10 mins to the old town. It is all stairs so be aware if you have a buggy or struggle with steps but it’s a very nice place and convenient to use as a base. Friendly owners and they arranged a very reasonable airport transfer which was cheaper than the actual taxis. Would recommend.
