“This is an amazing apartment!! We decided to travel last minute and everything from the booking process to communication with the owner was easy. While we did not use all the Barrier Island amenities because it’s off season (and we own another home nearby), I can tell you they are convenient and great for families. We adore the sound side view and the sunsets were incredible. If you are looking for an alternative to renting a whole house, this is your best option! A note if you have any mobility……

“Four of us (two adults and two grown kids) stayed for five nights over the holiday weekend. The location of this property right on the Duck/Southern Shores boundary was just great. Sunset views of the bay were great and the ocean was a short walk or drive away. The property was very clean. We are used to renting homes that are a little more lived in, so the lack of games and puzzles (and basic cooking necessities like salt and pepper) threw us a bit. We did a lot of cooking and missed not having……

We loved being right across the street from the boardwalk and hustle and bustle of duck. Katy checked in and communicated quickly and efficiently with and questions we had. “Hidden Gem with all the amenities. If you are looking for a well-appointed, comfortable and beautiful place to stay around Duck, look no further. The house was phenomenal. The hosts were incredibly attentive and responsive. And then there are the sunsets. They were breathtaking. So peaceful and beautiful. I had never stayed on the sound side, but this stay completely changed my mind. We will certainly be back! ”
