“The Mallard Hotel faces a beautiful mountain view! There is no staff on-site. No lobby or personnel. You can text the Hotel number and get any questions answered in a few minutes. The room air conditioner was on and cooling very well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! We loved the weight of the covers, not too light, not too heavy. The King room has a small kitchen sink counter area with a modern refrigerator. Coffee pot with amenities. There is a hair dryer and clothes steamer in……

“The facilities are outdated, and the soundproofing is very poor.”

“We absolutely loved it!”

“Very clean, vintage motel. Easy in and out. Great staff.”

“My family came down to visit our son and stayed 3 nights. It was the best experience. I honestly don’t know what all the complaints about noise are about, all 4 lodges were occupied and we had zero noise issues. The room was clean, the property was clean, and it was easy to find. I would definitely stay again!”

“Was a wonderful clean, beautiful little cabin !! Tanya really thought of everything that you would need and the decor was lovely !!!”

“Cabin was exactly as desxribed. Very cute and cozy. Host was awesome.”

“This is a fantastic cabin with a great location and easy access to blue ridge and Mcaysville. We had an amazing time and the cabin was fully stocked and ready to go. The additional kayaks and fishing poles were a nice touch!”

“The property and cabin are always very neat and clean. The location is excellent to many towns and other sights. A great place to relax.”

“What a fabulous weekend! The hosts are amazing and we cannot wait to come back!”

“One thing you immediately notice is the sounds. There’s a soundtrack of its own: the birds singing, insects buzzing, acorns falling from the trees. The stillness between those sounds is what makes it powerful—you feel removed from the rush of daily life.”

“Overall clean and very pleasant scenic view and stay.”
