The Lakewalk House is a spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation home, features an open concept living and dining area that's perfect for groups coming to explore Duluth. Located in the unique Lakeside neighborhood this property is near many local businesses like Amity Coffee, Sammy's Pizza and Lake Superior Brewing, all located right outside your door. Headed up the North Shore? Lakewalk is conveniently located near Highway 61 and the Old Scenic Highway where you can boogie on up to Brighton, Beach Two Harbors, Gooseberry Falls and beyond.

This property is dog-friendly. We welcome up to 2 dogs per reservation at a charge of $75 per dog. Please do not leave dogs unsupervised out of a crate. If your dog is not used to being crated and may become agitated and bark, disrupting neighbors, please consider this in your travel plans. In all public and common areas, dogs must be leashed/under full control of their handler. Any property damages caused by pets will be assessed and may be charged at the discretion of management.

You can hop on the Duluth Transit, or take advantage of ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft. And if you prefer traditional taxis, there are many other taxi services available too. We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect, tucked just outside the busier part of Duluth, so it’s peaceful and quiet, but still only a short drive to Costco, Walmart, and anything else you might need. It was the ideal base for exploring the North Shore, with easy access to all the scenic drives, hiking spots, and state parks. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and relaxing place to stay while exploring the area!

Lakewalk House was quite comfortable for our five-night stay with my daughter and son-in-law and my son. The beds were comfortable and the house was in good shape. We walked down to a delightful coffee shop and visited a couple of beautiful gardens in the neighborhood. We very much enjoyed our first visit to Duluth.

Nice old house. A little creaky but that's part of the charm! Only issues were small. No broom and tub drained slowly. I'll take that. It is in a great location for exploring, walking or biking, shopping, and seeing the Duluth and north shore sights. Loved it!

Great weekend in Duluth

Property was very clean. Lots of TV stations to watch when relaxing at night after a busy day. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of blankets and linens. Great for the 2 dogs that came with us.

Nice stay

House was very clean and nice location in east Duluth so a nice safe neighborhood and close to new brighton beach. Kitchen had all amenities we needed and was great for getting together with friends. Agree with reviews that only drawbacks was the road noise from superior street and stairs that are steep/slippery.

Lake House

The house was very comfortable and warm. We were experiencing temperature lows of -17 and we were comfortable. The home has hot water heat with radiators and works great.The beds were very comfortable, my mom wanted to know what brand the mattresses are.This was the first place I stayed that did not require us to take out trash, just bag it and leave it. Same for used towels, just put them in a conspicuous place. They did not ask us to strip the beds which is pretty common in other places we have stayed. We would stay here again. The location was great as it was easy to get around the area. Sammy's (pizza, calzones, wings) were really great and is really close so we had it delivered.

Duluth - A Christmas Wonderland

Duluth and the VRBO home provided for a sweet start to our family's Christmas holiday. The home had everything we needed (location to town, good walking, warm, clean, comfortable) for a long weekend stay. I would recommend a review of the check in process; specifically, clearer directions on the location of the client lockbox. Once Chad got the message that we couldn't enter the home, he was quick to arrive and very kind and emphatic. Thanks for the stay!

Loved the Lakewalk House!

We really enjoyed our stay here, and booked both the Mayfair and Lakewalk houses together for a larger family group. It was so nice to have adjacent properties and both houses were super clean and well-appointed. Clearly care is taken on hosting these properties, with cleaning, local recommendations, easy check-in and check-out, etc. The location is great, with easy access to local parks, and just a couple miles down to the Canal Park, Park Point and Bayfront areas. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and look forward to doing so!

Quiet neighborhood, Convenient

The house was exactly as expected and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was easy to find. The smart tv allowed for streaming but was not logged into the Netflix account (and not remembered by the Netflix account). This was not a major problem. After hours assistance was helpful and responsive when the power went out in the neighborhood unexpectedly.

Short Spring Trip

I travelled to Duluth for a short business trip, and my mother and sister accompanied me. The property was conveniently located for me to get my work done, and my mother and sister enjoyed searching for agates along Lake Superior. I have no complaints about the property and would definitely rent it again!

What a gem

Perfectly located to anything you want to do in Duluth. The house is accurately portrayed on the website. It appears to be surrounded by streets but it is a neighbor hood and very quiet. Kitchen is well stocked, bathrooms with adequate supplies, blow dryers in both bathrooms, comfortable furniture and mattresses where great! Would very much recommend. My 2 girlfriends and I spent the weekend here. Wish check in was an hour earlier and check out at 11am.
