“Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel our December booking, however the owner very kindly allowed us to rebook for the end of February 2026.Nice secluded cottage, plenty of room and well equipped. Lovely cosy lounge with wooden beams and log burner. All main rooms have nice views across the bay.Plenty of outside space with enclosed garden. ”

“A super little holiday cottage in Stranrear which is handy for exploring the area. Immaculately clean with helpful extras provided like towels and milk. Fresh flowers and chocolates were an added bonus. Cottage was warm and comfortable with a lovely garden and sun room and the kitchen had more than everything we needed. Plenty of parking and LIDL is just next door.”

“Our Christmas at the cottage was lovely. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage was so well maintained and clean. Had enough space for our party of 5. There was no wifi but did have weak mobile internet so we got by with that. We actually enjoyed being technology free for a couple of days. Lovely walks with the stream just behind the house was idyllic. The housekeeper was very helpful and was prompt with queries despite it being Christmas holidays. Nearest shops were in Castle Douglas……
