“We had a great time in this wee, cosy cottage. Cottage itself full of beautiful decor, very clean. Great stay, really. OK, the weather wasn't that good all week. For sure will come back summer time!”

“Property located in peaceful location. Not much in the walking distance. You can walk to local pub in about 25 minutes. We drove everywhere. Very nice beach in 6 minutes drive. ”

“Wir haben uns von anfang an sehr unwohl gefühlt, da das Objekt renovierungsbedürftig und schmutzig war. Der Gefrierschrank war vereist und es befanden sich noch offene Lebensmittel im Gefrierfach. Den Kühlschrank mussten wir reinigen um Ihn zu benutzen. Der Backofen war ebenfalls so schmutzig das wir Ihn nicht benutzen konnten.In der Duschtasse befand sich viel Schimmel am Silikon.Der Toilettendeckel war nur halbseitig befestigt und die Toilette war nicht sauber. Die Polster für die Gartenstühle……

“Our Christmas at the cottage was lovely. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage was so well maintained and clean. Had enough space for our party of 5. There was no wifi but did have weak mobile internet so we got by with that. We actually enjoyed being technology free for a couple of days. Lovely walks with the stream just behind the house was idyllic. The housekeeper was very helpful and was prompt with queries despite it being Christmas holidays. Nearest shops were in Castle Douglas……

“Brilliant stay over Christmas week, portpatrick is a stunning place lots of hotels and pubs nearby small town shop, bakery and pantry. Stunning scenery and great walks for the dogs. The house itself was brilliant plenty space for 6 of us the pool table and bar area was a highlight. Hot tub great as well. Could do with sharper knifes and the electric hobs take a while to heat up but everything else was amazing. Highly recommend would definitely return.”
