Seneca lake house

Great lake experience!

Really enjoyed our stay as a family of 5. The lake is beautiful and the house feels brand new. We brought our own kayaks and enjoyed time on the lake. Location is great as it's central to many different finger lakes destinations.

Great views of the lake

Great place to stay near all the restaurants & wineries. The views of the lake are amazing. The house was modern and clean. It had everything you could need and more. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location

Right on the lake, this house checked every box for us. We loved the wall of windows looking over the lake and also the location was perfect for wineries, Watkins Glen, hiking and many other activities.

Beautiful views

Beautiful lake views - clean modern comfortable living spaces. We were two couples traveling together- nice divided spaces with decks for both bedrooms. We went hiking and wine tasting. Gravel driveway is steep. Really enjoyed our stay!

Hidden Gem

Although the property is slightly challenging to get to it is totally worth it when you arrive at this well appointed what feels like a high-end treehouse overlooking an absolutely beautiful lake. My wife and I felt completely at home in this cozy, secluded home.

Fall Weekend

We had a lovely time waking up to the sunrise through the trees, touring wineries and hiking at Watkins Glen before coming back to the house and cooking dinner in the well equipped kitchen. The house definitely checked all of our boxes for a weekend getaway in beautiful surroundings.

The lake view is amazing. The home was very clean and had all the amenities to be comfortable. Also the directions and information about having a 4 wheel drive was helpful. Definitely would come back in the Spring or Summer months.

Great lake house!

We loved the view from the decks and the sliding glass doors. It was not too far from Watkins Glen Park or downtown. The road in was definitedly dicey but doable. All the appliances were high quality, however could use some directions on how to use.

Great getaway

Spent a couple nights here to unwind following a trip to NYC. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Weather was great so opened all the sliding doors and spent the night falling asleep to the sound of waves splashing on the shore. It felt like a giant treehouse with all the comforts of home. Deck was great and a perfect spot to cookout. And what’s better than drinking morning coffee down by the lake on the dock. We had a great time. Had one minor issue with some slow plumbing, texted before lunch, and by the time we got back, issue was fixed. The house was thoughtfully stocked with extra linens, pillows and more than enough kitchen utensils to accommodate our family of five. We’ll save this spot as one we’ll head back to again.

Total relax

The house is located 12 min. away from the downtown in a forest. Far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Close enough to go for lunch or visit park as many times as you want. House was enough for our family of 5, we used pull out bad in the living room. Deck at the lake was beautiful, water clear, my boys couldn't get enough of it. We brought paddle board that we used daily. The binder of restaurants and places to visit was very useful. Don't ignore 4x4 requirement to get there. You truly DO! We had very nice stay just before school start, something that everyone needed. Highly recommended

Wonderful stay on lake Seneca

We could have stayed longer! This home is strikingly lodged into the hill and woods along the west side of Lake Seneca. The whole back of the house, facing the lake, is window and decking. The first thing we did was climb down to the dock on the water and gaze at the stars. Everything you need is there and nothing more so you have kitchen, towels etc but no clutter or extra stuff. It’s a great location. We went to wineries and local hiking all very near. Things to know— as described there is a winding and steep gravel driveway we were okay with it. if you plan to cook you’ll need spices, oil, and there’s a bit of sun in the mornings so bring a sleep mask. It’s a special place and we would definitely come here again.

We loved this property. Very modern and comfortable, the most clean property I have ever stayed in. The listing is accurate as far as it goes, but I think it should be made clearer before booking that the road leading to the property is VERY steep and narrow, having 4WD was helpful on the way out. And also the 2nd bedroom is only accessible from the deck, it's not directly connected to the main floor of the house. For people with children, that could be an important thing to know. I only realized those things before booking because I read the reviews, it should be made more clear in the main description. And please add an electric kettle to the kitchen supplies, for tea drinkers! I detest those stove top kettles that whistle, I always burn myself using them. But other than those items, we absolutely loved this place. Completely relaxing, very beautiful, very comfortable, very very clean, overall really wonderful.
