“Its a castle from the 13th century on extensive property. The rooms are quaintly historical feeling. Four poster beds, antingue-ish furniture. In general, a great medieval feel while still having modern amenities”

“Have stayed here multiple times & it is always an excellent hotel property. However, two things of note for the Food & beverage manager: 1) You could use just a little more variety on your menus in all the restaurants, maybe a bit more seafood (in addition to the standard fish & chips), &/or a bit more Italian offerings &/or pasta/vegetarian dishes; & 2) The bar manager in the 19th hole bar (upstairs from the golf pro shop), could use some lessons in health & diplomacy standards (if he worked……

“Good for staying next to Edinburgh airport for an early flight. A lot of construction at present so the drop-off area is very chaotic. Once inside all is well”
