“Really lovely stay at the Angus. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Staff are all friendly, and attentive.
Spa was quite basic (pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi) but still lovely to be able to go for a swim. However, the area round the pool and spa needs some maintenance as there was plaster broken off walls, missing tiles and the roof has obviously had some kind of issue. Some nicer loungers round the pool would be good as it’s just plastic chairs and not very many. You have to……

“Booked an executive double room which was very spacious and had a large bath too. A bit dated overall but clean and we had a lovely overnight stay. Dinner and breakfast were both good quality with gluten free options. I enjoyed using the pool and sauna (pre book) however disappointed the hot tub snd steam room were not in operation. Also, the spa was closed both Sunday and Monday. Hotel is set in extensive grounds and is a 15 minute walk into Aberfoyle. Plenty EV charging points at the hotel.……

“Lovely Loch view doubles. Big comfy bed. Traditional decorations old feel country house hotel with good spa-pool, steam and sauna. Breakfast included. Top gourmet restaurant and service, decent bar and bar snack offer also available. Good VFM overall in a stunning location overlooking Loch Rannoch.”

“The staff were very nice and helpful, however the facility was old and in a bit of disrepair, which can be charming if the price were not so high. Pitlochry is a wonderful but expensive little town so this was not unexpected.”
