“Spent the weekend in Ocala for a ladies retreat. This apartment was perfect for what we needed. Had all of the comforts of home and the neighborhood is super quiet. Russell and Bridgette were amazing hosts! Will definitely stay here again in the future.”

“Convenient, attractive downtown location for walking. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The floodlights were annoying. The rooms were broken up in an awkward manner. The furniture was totally wrong for us seniors: high table and chairs, a sofa that put us so far down that it was nearly impossible to get up. The "smart" television was too tricky to navigate. All we needed were the basic channels.”

“Once at the apartment we wished we were staying longer than one night. The owner’s attention to detail, from the comfy furnishings to providing fresh eggs, gave us the feeling of being in someone’s home. They really understand and carry out the meaning of hospitality and help create a unique and pleasant experience. And being in the historic neighborhood made the experience that much better.”

“This home had everything we needed. My family and extended family (two German Shepherds) had a really great time. Every thing was so like brand new that I even conveyed to the owner that I was afraid to scratch or dirty anything. I asked the owner why he put "just basics" in the description. He responded there was no pool or hot tub .... so what. Great place to relax and to use as a base camp for anything that you want to do in the area. I have friends in the area and will definitely stay in……

“The boathouse was perfect for me and my husband! We had everything we needed, took full advantage of the kayak and spent hours on the water!! It was just beautiful and we saw so many manatee!! The bed was comfy and the shower was great! Teddi goes above and beyond to make sure you’ve got everything you need including info about restaurants etc. I hope we’re lucky enough to stay here again someday.”

“Had never been to central Florida before but we will definitely be back! Loved the quietness and variety of the area. So much to see and do within no more than an hour drive. Very responsive host, the few minor issues were answered almost immediately. Loved the organization and labeling on all needful items.”

“Joe and Gina were excellent hosts for my 7 night stay at their newly remodeled rental property. Bed was comfortable, bathroom had a nice shower and a separate tub. Towels were thick and toiletries were provided. Kitchen area was well stocked with coffee pods for the Keurig and Gina had a bowl of fruit on the counter for me, including some fresh oranges from their tree! What a treat! The property is located just steps away from Lake Rouseau and about 5 houses from a public boat launching area.……

“This is a beautiful property with incredible hosts! They’re kind and very helpful with the area. We stayed in the barn apartment and we’re very impressed with how clean it was and how much room we had! We enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the front porch every morning, as well as dinner every evening and looking at all the horses around us. There even was a cute cow that we got to pet! Overall a great stay and we’re excited to be back.”
