“We really enjoyed our long weekend at this property. The house is very spacious and the views are spectacular. The beds and linens are comfortable and immaculate. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes, pans, etc. The owners have provided equipment for so many activities from fishing and kayaking to enjoying the fire pit in the comfortable and sturdy outside furniture. The owners were very responsive to questions and reached out just to make sure we had everything……

“Memorial Day weekend my family and I wanted to get away and recharge. We have four children ranging from 16 - 6 y/o and 2 dogs. This rental property was perfect for us! When we were not at Hughlett Point Beach or Compass Entertainment Center, the children enjoyed the garage with darts, foosball and basketball. We be played games at night and enjoyed the morning sun out back. My husband and I were able to walk our dogs with ease and got to explore the neighborhood. I would recommend this property……

“We had a wonderful stay in Tappahannock on the Rappahannock River. Everything in the house was clean and well kept. The space the 5 bedrooms offered gave all us an opportunity to relax. Ashley was extremely hospitable and great to work with! Definitely recommend!!”

“We were sold on the rental because of its size, location, and pet friendliness. The hosts provided an immaculate, spacious, and attractive rental, complete with bedding and towels. The kitchen had all the necessities, including lots of flatware, mugs, glasses, plates, pots and pans. Dishwasher, coffee maker and Keurig were also provided. Full clothes washer and dryer made it possible for us to do our laundry and pack it clean for home. Home is nestled overlooking the river. Expansive windows……

“We were in the area for a family wedding so spent most of our time away from the cottage. It provided a welcome morning and evening retreat, sun (or even clouds) over the water. We could have enjoyed many hours sitting in the "sun room" if we hadn't been pulled away to other activities. It was all lovely and easy. Suggest owners install a grab bar for the tub/shower. That tile step is dangerous, especially when wet.”

“The house was amazing, really well equipped. Great secluded location and still close to restaurants. The pool was a great temperature and big! Our son (7) loved the box of pool toys. The house is a great size could easily accommodate a large family with everyone having their own space, at the same time we were just a family of 4 and we didn’t feel like we were rattling around, the lounge was nice and cozy. Would definitely stay again.”
