"Clean and nicely furnished room although basic amenities… only hand soap and a fixed bottle of shower/hair wash….. I expected a bit more…… Friendly staff. Location is good although if walking to/from town the front steps are a challenge not for the feint hearted! Stunning sea views. Breakfast was hot and plenty of choice. Overall I’d recommend."

"Stayed in the hotel section after a very long international flight so it was nice to be near the airport. Enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds and enjoyed a sunset view from the back of property. Had a nice dinner at the Palomino. Breakfast was included with our rate and was a nice introduction to a typical Scottish breakfast. All the staff were friendly. Free parking was nice to have too. There was no AC ventilation in our room but a portable fan and window could be angled out. We have since discovered this was typical in all of our accommodations in Scotland. We would stay there again!"

"House clean and warm. Kitchen had everything we needed. Wood burning stove a real treat. Seating comfortable, beds and linen good. Tv great during wet weather, good selection of shows, plus a good choice of dvds. Radio a bonus. Great views from most of windows. Holy Loch beautiful, wonderful houses with spectacular private gardens. Good restaurants and well stocked garage/shop very close. Loved everything about the house and hope to visit regularly."
