"Bihar cottage was fabulous really well equipped, better than any I’ve ever stayed in. Beds were comfortable, lounge was large and the views were superb. We had the sea view from every bedroom window as well as the lounge. Garden was beautiful and we saw cruise ships, frigates, submarines seals and all kinds of bird life. Dunoon is a lovely little town and is only about 15 minutes away and you can get pretty much anything you need. We travelled to Inverary, Glencoe, went up Ben Nevis, had a trip on the Waverley the paddle steamer. Everywhere was accessible, definitely the best holiday we’ve ever had in Scotland and we go every year! Would recommend to anyone!"

"I had a sea view and the view was absolutely stunning. The room was good, bed really comfortable and clean, bathroom clean and seemed relatively new. Water pressure not the best but it's an old building. Looked like someone had spilled bleach on the carpet at the bathrrom door but was clean apart from that. Plenty drawers and wardrobe space. I ate in the restaurant one night and it was nice, good choice and tasty. Maybe a bit old fashioned but it fits with the hotel, which is an old character building. A nice terrace at the front to sit and watch the sunset of an evening but limited space. There are a lot of steps at the front up to the hotel (which were blocked off when I was there) or quite a steep hill to walk up the road. Staff all really helpful - opened the sash window for me that I couldn't manage and lovely and friendly in the reastaurant. With such amazing views there really is nowhere better than Scotland when the sun shines and it did!"

"I wanted to share how pleased we are with our stays at the Royal Marine Hotel. This was our fourth visit, Jackie and I are returning again this weekend and once more next month, which speaks for itself. The location is perfect for us. We can park the car and head out for the day without any hassle. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the rooms we have been allocated have been excellent on every visit. We have thoroughly enjoyed each stay and look forward to returning again."

"Wir wohnten 2 Wochen in dem idyllischen kleinen Haus am Wasser. Es ist recht geräumig, man findet alles, was man benötigt. Die Ausblicke aus den Fenstern sind sehr romantisch. Wir haben, wenn die Sonne schien, draußen gefrühstückt mit Blick auf die See (Firth of Clyde). Hinter dem Haus kann man am Abend den Sonnenuntergang über dem Loch erleben. Parkmöglichkeit gibt es auch in direkter Nähe zum Haus. Unser Urlaub war unvergesslich. Mike ist ein fürsorglicher und unkomplizierter Gastgeber."
