"We felt that the rental was not properly cleaned and the exterior fire pit area was completely not maintained. The refrigerator contained left over condiments and other things that seemed out of date. All in all, just not up to our standards. We did not stay at this rental, which we had reserved for two nights. We asked for a partial refund but were denied"

"Not for those seeking a particularly maintained or modern lodging, but my room was clean, the staff was kind, and it was a perfectly acceptable roadside stop. Mostly went for price as I was traveling solo in a moving truck. Alright 24/7 diner in walking distance. Could have been a lot worse for a budget stay."

"Easy checking in and out via the text communication. The water temperature was a bit hit and miss. It would be only hot in the sink for a while. The knob on the shower was a bit difficult to turn on, someone with arthritis might have trouble. A couple times the neighbors across the street were loud, but nothing the air conditioning wouldn't cover. Overall a nice , clean convenient stay."

"The cabin was a great place to spend time with our daughter and her 2 dogs. Very relaxing. Very close to everything. The trains passed by a few times during the night. They provided ear plugs, if it was an issue with you. I didn’t mind it. It had everything you needed. Would definitely stay there again. "

"Franke's Retreat was even better than it appears in the Vrbo photos. Franke's was roomy, comfortable, and came with a surprising amount of amenities. We loved the hot tub, the kitchen, and the heated floors in the bathrooms. We also took advantage of the dens (both upstairs and downstairs) and the grill on the deck. The location was also fantastic. You're around 5-15 minutes away from everything in the Dunsmuir area (golf, Castle Crags, Mossbrae Falls, etc.). The Upper Sacramento is just down the hill, and overall a really beautiful, quiet (except for the trains), scenic area. I would highly recommend!"

"Such a beautiful and well thought out home away from home. We stayed for several days as we explored around the Mount Shasta area. Dunsmuir is such a quaint little town and this home was the perfect landing spot after a long day of outdoor adventures. Thank you for everything!"
