“The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. My air conditioner/heating unit did not seem to be working, so I was too warm both nights of my stay. The lobby seemed to be fairly nice, clean, well kept. Other public spaces - hallways, elevators - were in poor shape. Carpets worn and things were dirty. Visibly dirty. I did not use the pool or the arcade, but I thought the vintage arcade games were a nice touch. The bar and restaurant, Tanglewood, was a mistake I won’t make again. Food was below……

“Boy, I have I rented a lot of vacation rentals over the last 25 years and this is hands down one of my favorites, mostly because it felt like you’re so much at home I couldn’t wait to get back there at the end of the day just to relax and unwind because you are at home! “We showed up to the property to find out they had no reservation even though we made it over a month prior. So we had to stand around and wait for an hour so they could try to fix their mistake. Then the following night I went to go get food for me and my wife and showed back up to our room key not working. They tried to fix it and then tried to tell us they would fix it in the morning.
